Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 60 – A new method confirmed

I just took down a new rare monster, a General Goblin.

It wasn’t as strong as the powered up Golden Worm, but it was still a high level rare monster that took me all the way up to forty-one. From now on, I can easily go from a Hobgoblin to a General Goblin… But today I want to check if a powered up Hobgoblin appears after I take down four.

The problem now is, what if General Goblins appear every time, and a powered up one appears after a powered up Hobgoblin?

There’s one point of concern that makes it not likely, but…

Let’s think about it for a bit.

Firstly, I managed to take this one down without a scratch because it went after Ayane and exposed itself. I got on top of it, used my skills to their full ability, and beat it like a punching bag. I just sort of beat it. If we were fighting head on, its armor would be a little too tough.

If a powered up one appeared, that same method wouldn’t work again.

Even with the Golden Worm, its stats were boosted one point five times, and it had the Limit Break skill. The General Goblin had the same Physical Strength and Constitution as a Golden Worm, and if it was powered up the same way, its Agility would reach two hundred forty.

It’s hard to imagine beating a powered up Golden Worm that can run around freely. I shudder just thinking about it…

I should avoid it for now. And if General Goblins start appearing one after the other, I should consider retreating.

And if I’m going to fight them, maybe I should look into weapons that can face that magic iron without a problem.

There’s another thing I discovered.

Both today’s General Goblin and yesterday’s powered up Golden Worm vanished into smoke right after going down. Does that show that there won’t be another rare monster coming after that? So if a powered up Hobgoblin also disappears like that, there won’t be a powered up General Goblin after it?

I won’t know for sure until I test it.

Also, there are two rare monsters that didn’t immediately turn to smoke, but haven’t spawned anything after them, Murder Rabbit, and Golden Worm. I’m sure they don’t spawn anything unless Luck is high enough.

…But what about the Rainbow Slime? I was too excited to think about it back then, but…

Leaving that aside, Murder Rabbits spawn like Hobgoblins, so there’s a chance I can make whatever comes next spawn as I am now. I’m curious, but I’ll have to leave that for later.

As for the Golden Worm, I can’t even make that one spawn every time. It’d be hard to test that one now.

But what if something did appear… Would it hatch or something?

“Darling!”

Ayane jumps at me from behind while I’m lost in thought. There’s a nice smell coming from my shoulders.

“Ayane?”

“You were angry about me being attacked. I’m so happy!!”

“Ah, that… I was annoyed because it ignored me and went after you. I mean… I can’t really put it into words.”

“That means you already see me as your girl!”

“Eh? No, that’s not it. It’s not.”

Ayane is too ecstatic to listen.

“…Aira.”

“Yes master?”

“Pull this away.”

“As you wish.”

“Kyah!”

Ayane is pulled away from me with an exaggerated reaction. I said it as a joke, but Aira really did obey me. Well, Ayane did announce that earlier, but still.

Yes, that’s a hassle, but fine. Let’s just look at the items.

The drops are…

1: Steel great sword

2: Magic iron chest plate

3: Medium magic stone

4: Large magic stone

5: Skill: Super Strength

6: Skill: Super Strength II

7: Skill: Command

Hm…

I didn’t expect Super Strength II to drop. Does that mean…

No, I’d have to test it. Including checking if it does nothing.

“Use Super Strength.”

The orb disappears, and…

Nothing changed…

No, it really was a complete waste.

“I’m glad… I didn’t try that with an adamantine one.”

Seriously.

It’s worth way more than Super Strength.

Now let’s test the next one.

“Use Super Strength II.”

The orb disappears. And this one…

“All right!”

This is a big find. If they don’t have a ‘Lv’ attached, they won’t go up unless both the name and number are the same.

If it becomes III and the effects are negligible, that’s going to hit me hard.

But this also means that it would have been faster to learn the version with numbers from the start…

Hm. I’m curious about what would happen if someone who didn’t know a skill learned one with a number, but people didn’t know about these to begin with, so it’s completely new.

…Which means I’m the first. This is fun.

That makes me want to start hunting General Goblins. But what if a powered up one appeared…

“Lastly… Command? Let’s look for it.”

‘Passive skill. People perceived as being in the same team as the owner of this skill get a ten percent stat boost. Maximum of five people. Market price is five hundred million.’

I feel like seeing hundreds of millions is getting to be normal for me.

Well, it does look like a really useful skill.

“Of course I’ll use it.”

Should I get this one to II too? Actually, it would be useless for me. I don’t have a team…

But then I suddenly remember the two standing behind me.

They’ve been following me for no reward, but I don’t want to keep dealing with them in this apathetic way.

It’s annoying, and more importantly, there are things that are more important to me, so I was just leaving them be, but it’s hard to focus on fighting like this.

But I just got together with Aki and Maki, so opening up to two other girls and making a team with them is…

But wait, if they learned the Command skill too, I would get stronger. And would they stack and become a twenty percent buff?

“…Ah, no.”

I’m looking for reasons to let them join me. No. Do I just really want a team? I’m really wondering if I should take this chance that fell on my lap.

“Ahh…”

All right, I should talk to them when I have a problem.

For now, it was simple, but I managed to investigate something, which satiates my explorer spirit.

It’s still early, but let’s end the morning portion of the day! Retreat!

“Let’s go back for now. I’m going to report to Aki and Maki, so come with me.”

“Yes!!”

“Understood.”
