After the tea party with Ghise, I’m sent back to my room.
White Rose is posted in a way to not let me escape.
She is all smiles as she walks next to me.
I don’t think she will do any harm for now, but I still cannot let my guard down near an enemy.
All I can do now is look for an opening to escape from Roland.
As I think that, a girl I recognize walks this way from the opposite direction.
She is smaller than Miss Iris, and her blonde hair is tied with a ribbon near her chest.
Izekiel Elzerbel Quarte, the new saintess of Roland.
My sworn enemy who drove Miss Iris into a predicament that saw her expelled from the country.
Izekiel sees me, and grins as she runs my way.
“Oh my oh my. I thought I saw your face before, but here is the second princess, Sephilia! It’s been a while. Where have you been~? I was so worried~!
“I apologize…”
“Oh dear, you seem even less energetic than usual~. Ah, you were always this gloomy, weren’t you? I’m sorry, we haven’t seen each other in a while, so I forgot~♪.”
Izekiel says as she taps her staff on my head lightly like she’s mocking me.
“By the way Princess Sephilia, who is the old lady next to you? It seems to be a demon poorly imitating a human.”
“You don’t know her, saintess?”
“What a strange question. Why would a refined and neat and beautiful pure saintess such as myself know this white-haired hag~!?”
Izekiel says with a mocking laugh.
“Sephilia, I will tell you something good. This is a demon.”
“H-haaa!? I-I-I-I-I am no demon! What are you talking about you hag!? A holy saintess such as myself cannot be a demon!”
White Rose’s words shake Izekiel tremendously, and she starts ranting as she steps away.
But White Rose casually reveals her identity.
“One of the four generals of the demon king’s army, and their last survivor, Moon Goddess Artemis. She has the wonderful track record of surviving because she was scared of the hero’s power and ran away. There is no demon out there who is not aware of a woman with such a disgraceful history.”
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! I can’t hear you I can’t hear you I can’t hear you!! You’re crazy! I’ll let you off with a warning today, so be thankful!”
Izekiel runs away, and disappears from our sights.
Then we hear noises like she’s falling down the stairs.
