Walking in another world – Chapter 641 – Zuirya dungeon – Part seven

“Let’s hunt a lot!”

Hikari is fired up as we go to the fourth floor.

Our targets are orcs and their superior species. We need to hunt forty, but if they are nearby, we can hunt more.

Also, this is the last floor where the quota goes up. It’s all the same from the next floor onward.

“Sora, you don’t have to use Intimidate.”

Says Rurika, as I look on at Hikari with an awkward smile.

Intimidate is useful, but relying on it too much will make my sword skills grow dull, so I’m normally prohibited from using it.

My levels work differently from the others’, but my Walking has gone past the limit of a hundred. Intimidate is still level eight, so there’s room to grow.

Maybe I’ll even be able to use it on lords once it maxes out.

“So Sora, what about monsters and people?”

“It’s pretty busy.”

I say to Argo while looking at Map. There are a lot of monsters and people.

Hn? This reaction…

“What’s wrong, Sora?”

“Hum…”

I don’t know if I should respond to Chris.

She sees me hesitate, and keeps staring. She’s not going to stop, is she?

I could purposefully pick a longer route, but Hikari, Rurika, and Guilford might notice something’s off.

“The adventurers that messed with us in town are here.”

“Those people?”

I nod.

“Then let’s go there.”

“Rick?”

“We should make a display of power to people like that.”

“I agree. Once they know we’re above them, they’ll be quiet. This is especially true for adventurers of this country.”

Clift is polite, but what he says sounds harsh.

“But will we just conveniently find monsters near them?”

“We could use that.”

Argo is talking about the shamal horn.

“Can we use it near others?”

“We don’t have to worry about that. After all, if there aren’t any monsters nearby, what else can we do!? We just have to emphasize that.”

Says Argo full of confidence, but Guilford and the others shake their heads.

I mean, it sounds really on the nose. Is that really okay?”

“Let’s just go there and see. If they have someone with searching skills, they might realize someone’s approaching and come have a look. And with Sora’s Map, we can get around them.”

Says Rurika, and we head towards those guys. She has a point.

On the way there, we come across a group of orcs, and they go down in no time, even though there’s a general leading them. I take out their magic stones, and put them in the Item Box.

“What should we do with the orcs? Sell them in the guild?”

“There are a lot, and it would be tough to take them all apart…”

We could do it if we had a place to take them apart, but there are too many.

Argo and the others also think it would be too much trouble, but our eyes all focus on Hikari.

“I want general meat!”

Superior species are tastier.

Also, she might be prioritizing the red orcs and black orcs on the next floor.

We’ll keep a few of those for their meat, and sell the rest.

◇ ◇ ◇

It’s our second day here, and I think it’s around the time when the sun is coming down, when we meet our quota.

We haven’t reached those guys yet. They keep going deeper and deeper in search of monsters, and further away from us.

Also, there have been plenty of times when we’re fighting monsters, and more appear nearby.

“…How about we rest and think about what to do next?”

We’ve achieved our goal on this floor, so we’re thinking it’s a pain to purposefully go after those guys.

It would be different if they were coming this way.

But we get our chance the next day.

As I keep watch, I check Map, and see them heading towards the staircase.

“So there are people who hunt at this hour too.”

Says Harold while swinging his great sword down. The fact that new monsters are spawning means they are being taken down somewhere.

Looking at Map, I see not every party takes a break at the same time.

An orc warrior comes towards me, and I cut it down.

“So what happened to them?”

Asks Argo after waking up, so I tell them they’ve come relatively close.

“Then let’s do as we planned.”

He says, and everyone nods.

“I’ll say when it’s time. Hikari, I’m counting on you.”

It would be faster if it was me, but Hikari wants to use the shamal horn, so I give it to her.
