My Twin Sister Was Taken as a Miko and I Was Thrown Away but I’m Probably the Miko – Chapter 455 – Girl and a big conflict – Part two

As the report says, people of Lunid are looking for our country.

We were supposed to send people to Lunid again to gather information, but that’s been suspended. We can’t have them getting caught.

We don’t know what the King of Lunid intends to do with us. I hope he’s not hostile to us, but who knows. I have a lot on my mind, thinking about what to do.

If they’re looking for us, they probably really do want to conquer us. What should I do about something that scary?

…If I make a move on my own, it might cause problems, so I’ll talk about it before I do anything. After all, anything I do will be seen as the will of the country.

Thinking about how kings have that sort of responsibility is a little scary. I mean, what I do might change people’s lives a lot.

Does Gaius feel the same kind of pressure? I don’t want to put people in danger. I want everyone to smile together.

But what should I do to achieve that goal?

I’m riding Scifo and looking around while thinking that.

The idea is to not get involved with people of Lunid, even if we find them. It would be best if we didn’t see them. Being so far deep in a dangerous place is a problem.

But if we help them, it might lead them to think that they can keep going deeper into the forest without any problems, which would be an issue later.

And I know that our country comes first.

“Hihihin. (The weather is nice today.)”

“Yes. Crops need rain to grow, but… I like clear weather.”

It would be a problem if the weather was always the same. We get a lot of food by hunting, but with more people comes the need to plant more crops. That’s what we’re doing in the castle’s backyard too.

If there’s a big conflict, people might have to take refuge in the castle. And we’ll have to feed them.

I hope it doesn’t come to that, but we should be prepared.

We built a country and people accept me and Gaius as kings, so I have to do a good job.

As I patrol around in the sky, I see the magic energy vortexes in the ruins, and give it a little prayer. It’s working slowly, but the area isn’t purified yet.

There’s still a lot lying dormant in those ruins. It’s hard to investigate everything. That’s just how big the country that once existed there was.

Exploration is going slowly and carefully, while listening to Wea, but with our new country came a lot of things we have to do, so it got pushed back a little.

I look around with Scifo, and start humming. I like spending time in the sky.

A human like me is meant to walk on the ground, so it might be weird to feel comfortable up here.

But I’m a miko of the sky god, so I feel even more familiar with the sky. Flying feels as natural to me as walking.

Riding Scifo, flying on my own… I love both.

I wish I could show more people the view from up here, but most are scared of floating.

I’ve invited kids, but a lot of them are scared too. But then I thought that people might feel like they can’t reject an invitation from me, so I’ve been more careful about inviting them. I need to always make sure people can say no.

“Hihihihin. (You sure love singing.)”

“Yes, it’s really fun. A king has to think about lots of things, and it’s tough, but making time to take it easy like this makes me feel better.”

Gaius and I have to think about a lot. Not on our own, but there’s still a lot… Really a lot.

I think that makes taking it easy up here even more relaxing.

It’s important to take a break. Maybe next time I’ll invite Gaius.
