Well, I know she didn’t mean anything bad by it.
The goal is to teach Graham how to fight, so surely a guy that just pushes through everything with his invincible body really would just get in the way.
Wil burst out laughing when she heard it… What a nasty vampire.
“But that was harsh.”
“Daddy’s a pest.”
Says Snow on my lap as I move her little arms left and right.
She doesn’t complain, and listens to me grumble, and then I hear Reina behind me say dinner is ready.
“But that’s terrible for Graham. I know it’s in order to be accepted by his parents’ generation, but having to be trained by master…”
“Come to think of it, doesn’t that make you two fellow pupils?”
“Eh? I don’t know. Graham isn’t a mage, so I feel like it’s not the same…”

Says Snow as Reina sits next to me and she stretches her arms towards her, and Reina grabs her.
She holds on tightly as always, and might be asleep already.
Reina rocks her back and forth while tapping her back, and we hear her sleeping.
Hey, it’s dinner time.
“You were actually trained by her, so do you think Edinburgh can help Graham get stronger?”
“Yes.”
“You sound confident.”
“I do. I don’t want to praise her too much, but… She is unparalleled when it comes to training others.”
“I see.”
I don’t think she’s saying that just because she was her master.
We’re talking about the person that started the seven great mages.
She made Zephir that strong, and also instructed people like Merlin and Xellos.
“If it was before we came here, I would worry about her breaking her trainee, but I’m sure he will be fine. Probably.”
“But how is she going to train an ancient dragon?”
“I have no idea either…”
“What are you talking about?”
Asks Tiltue after she comes back from her bath.
We tell her about all that, and how we’re wondering how Edinburgh plans to train Graham, and Tiltue tilts her head.
“I was strong from the start… But I guess the best way is to fight someone stronger than you.”
“Someone stronger than him… But then why did they leave me out?”
“Well, you’re beyond strong, darling…”
“There’s no point if it’s an opponent he can’t beat no matter what ideas and tricks he can come up with.”
I feel like I’m being singled out.
Well, I get what they’re saying… It’s just that it’s been a while.
“I heard they’re going to start training tomorrow. I’m thinking I’ll sneakily watch.”
“Then I’m going too. Kukuku, I want to see Graham’s pitiful face!”
“If you’re going to be a bad girl like that, I’m not taking you.”

Tiltue looks surprised.

It’s cute how she rushed to correct herself, I think as I feel a flick on my forehead.

“I’m thinking we need to eradicate the husband tormenting his cute fiancee.”

Reina flicks me again while staring.
I don’t really have any room to argue after doing just that.
“P-please go easy…”
Reina’s fingers have a lot of magic energy in them. This would really hurt a regular person…
“Ouch!?”
A loud shrill sound echoes in the room, and Snow jumps up with surprise. She’s so cute.
That didn’t actually hurt, I just said it reflexively. I guess it’s like instinct.

The next morning, Zephir greets me when I go to Edinburgh’s place.
“Miss Edinburgh has already left.”
“Eh? So early?”
I came here right after having breakfast too…
“She seemed fired up. She was up late last night working on a plan.”
Is she excited to be training someone for the first time in a while? He could tell she was excited by looking at her from behind as she wrote with a quill.
Apparently she hasn’t been this excited since she trained Reina.
It’s nice that she’s motivated, but judging by what I heard of Reina’s training, Graham might be in for a tough time.
“Did she go to Graham’s place?”
“No, I heard she is doing some negotiations today, so she wants to go to various places.”
“Negotiations?”

When Zephir tells me, my face twitches a little.
