I was reincarnated on an island where the strongest species live, so I will enjoy a peaceful life on this island – Chapter 231 – Hogging

Edinburgh went to the alfar village to the north.

When I go in there, I see Mister Guen roaming around. He’s patrolling to protect the villagers from the grand wyverns above.

“Good morning Mister Guen.”

“Ou, Arata and Tiltue… You didn’t bring Snow?”

“She stayed home.”

“Tch, then today Giarth is…”

He isn’t happy to hear what Tiltue says.

So does that mean Mister Giarth is in our home?

The great spirits all fawn over Snow, and sneakily drop by to visit.

They could just visit her normally without hiding, but I think they’re just embarrassed.

“So, what do you want? Katima was caught by Seria and is busy with domestic training or something.”

Katima’s grandma Seria tells us to get married every time she sees me.

Telling her I’m getting married to Reina and Tiltue did nothing to change that.

She keeps saying she wants to hold Katima’s kid as soon as possible, but all that does is trouble me.

I look at their home, and tell myself I should stay away from there today.

“I’ve come after Edinburgh. Have you seen her?”

“Ah, she said she wanted help to train that ancient dragon kid, so I told her yes with conditions.”

That’s what I figured.

I heard she was negotiating, but with great spirits… What kind of conditions are those…

“Snow really likes her, so I told her I’d do it if she told her nice things about me.”

“Cheap.”

“You know, you’re pretty rude to great spirits.”

“It just slipped out.”

That was an easier negotiation than I expected.

It really makes Wil seem greedy for demanding the treasure that’s only second to their own lives in terms of importance for ancient dragons.

Reina thought of great spirits as legendary beings, so if she heard about this back then…

“They’re really losing their majesty…”

“So are you.”

“I still have plenty of majesty!”

I don’t think Tiltue had much of that since the moment I met her. She’s cute.

And Snow lords over both of them.

“If she’s not here, did Edinburgh go to Miss Sheril’s place?”

“Yep. Normally she might have gotten herself killed no questions asked, but Sheril’s been in a good mood lately. I don’t think it will turn weird.”

The air was pretty volatile when I went to see her with Katima.

There was that time Erie and Cara got caught by her too, and she really isn’t the type to be merciful towards her enemies. I think she’s softened ever since Snow was born.

I still think she’s scary though…

“Darling, I kind of have a bad feeling about this…”

“Eh?”

“I feel like we should hurry there…”

Unlike me, who is thinking positively, Tiltue looks worried.

I look up at the northern sky, and it starts to become cloudy like her emotions.

My body being invincible means my sense of danger is dull.

Conversely, Tiltue is a lot more sensitive to that sort of thing, probably in part because she’s an ancient dragon.

“Let’s hurry.”

“Hm…”

We say goodbye to Mister Guen and fly further north, going over the volcanic area until we reach the valley where Miss Sheril’s temple is located.

It’s usually protected by a darkness prison, but not today.

“I’m not so good with her…”

“Really? Do you want to wait here?”

“Mu… But I want to stay on this date with you!”

She said she came along to see Graham’s troubled face, so she shouldn’t force herself.

That’s what I was thinking when I proposed she stayed, but she gave a cute answer.

I think this valley might be a mood killer if we’re talking about a date.

“Fufufu… I have you all to myself today, darling.”

She holds my arm, and as I look at my happy fiancee, I think it really doesn’t matter where we are.
