The Grand Boar’s face shines red again, and we glare at each other with Iris in the middle.
“Iris, Gigantify!”

Iris shakes more than usual, and inflates like a balloon until it’s as big as a Huge Rainbow Slime.
Gigantify is a special skill of Iris, that even my True Appraisal didn’t show. It’s probably like how rare II goblin monsters can summon others, a skill peculiar to its race.
‘Pugiii!’
‘Pururururu!’
The Grand Boar shoots forward like a missile, and Iris takes it head on.
It takes the charge that broke several trees, and while I’m a little worried that it can’t take it, it shakes its whole body and brushes off the impact. And the Grand Boar is completely sealed in its body.
‘Bugih, bugii…!’
It struggles as hard as it can, and I can hear its muffled voice. But no matter how hard it tries to escape the slime body, it’s like it’s sinking into a bottomless marsh.
Eventually, it suffocates, its resistance weakens, and Iris puts more strength into its body.

I hear the sounds of bones breaking inside Iris, and once that stops, what I think is smoke from the Grand Boar emerges from Iris and dissipates.

I pet Iris, and smoke comes out of its whole body as it returns to its small size.
It looks like Iris’ Gigantify isn’t like when Enki gets bigger. Apparently it uses something that looks a lot like the smoke that comes out of monsters.
I want to know how it works, but… That’s not going to be easy, since I can’t communicate with Iris directly.
With the boar rare II down, we decide to take a short break, and set up the tent. But first, we have Enki flatten the ground and pave it.
“Iris, do you want to eat magic energy?”
‘Pururu.’
I ask, because Iris worked hard there, but no matter how much I try to send, I don’t feel like it goes well. I’ve tried it multiple times in the past few days, to no success.
The magic energy is going out, and Iris is trying to receive it, but… It’s like only ten or twenty percent is getting there.
It’s very inefficient, but will it get better the more I do it?
‘Pururu.’
“Let’s leave it at that for today. Ayane.”
“Yes. Here’s a magic stone, Iris.”

Lately, that’s been Iris’ position when we’re taking a break, on Ayane’s lap. That used to be Enki’s spot not long ago, but it got too heavy after it evolved into a bunch of iron.
Well, it’s no big deal to us with our stats, but it’s still tiring. Enki can easily change into an earth body, but this is the dungeon. We have to be ready to fight at any time, so Enki is sitting next to me.
“Everyone’s gotten their magic energy, so let’s roll the updated gacha.”

So the paralysis resistance ring finally makes an appearance.
It’s so late… Then again, the previous gacha might have had some sort of restriction. Which got lifted with the upgrade to II.
Also, it looks like SR doesn’t come out of the regular gacha anymore. The skills that catch my eye came from SUR. Ahh, I complained a lot during that charging period, but gacha really is fun.
