Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 305 – Administrator level 2

“Question. Tell me all the dungeon setting permissions for a level two administrator.”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Nugu.”

No good.

But while it won’t tell me, I should be able to do things. That means I just have to guess.

Level one allowed me to stop stampedes, and change the spawn rate and distribution of monsters.

What else can I fool around with…

“Question. Is it possible to change monster drop rates?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

…Hum, it doesn’t say I can or can’t do it. Let’s just keep asking the first thing that comes to mind.

“Question. Can I change the environment of floors?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Question. Can I change the locations of exits?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Question. Can I swap floors?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Question. Can I change the spawn rate of rare monsters?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Question. Can I make it so rare monsters spawn as normal monsters?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Question. Can I cause a stampede?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Gununu…!”

It’s stubborn.

I feel like it will tell me my level is too low regardless of the question.

…Wait, come to think of it…

“Question. Tell me the dungeon setting permissions for a level two administrator.”

‘Valid. Linchpin system is available.’

Bingo! The first time it didn’t work because I said ‘all’. Like with level one, it will tell me if it’s just one! I really do need to be very careful with how I word things…

Linchpin? What’s that?

“Question. Explain the Linchpin System as best you can considering my administrator level.”

‘Valid. Please look at this.’

A world map centered on Japan appears in front of me.

There are red marks everywhere, and I don’t need an explanation to understand what they are.

‘These are…’

“Stop! They’re the locations of dungeons all over the world, right!?”

…Is this okay? Aren’t there countries that keep the location of their dungeons secret? It’s all here…

And the dungeon core didn’t tell me anything. Did I word it wrongly?

“Question. Are these the eleven hundred dungeons that exist all over the world?”

‘Negative. These are the dungeons where humans have entered.’

“…So unexplored dungeons and new dungeons in the middle of a stampede aren’t here?”

It’s true that I don’t see any dungeons in the water, other than this one. So a counterattack hasn’t happened yet, like here… Still, this is a lot. Let me take a picture…

Snap.

…Yes, it worked.

I haven’t really found anything worth photographing, so it wasn’t on my mind, but come to think of it, I could’ve taken a photo of that weird figure too.

Ah, and let’s take one of the mermaid core too.

Snap.

Perfect…

Now let’s ask for more.

“Please continue explaining the Linchpin System.

‘Valid. Once the Linchpin System is active, dungeons linked to your keys will resonate with each other. Do you want to activate it?’

“…Hn?”

I asked it to explain, but…

Will it go no further unless I do it?

“What are the downsides?”

‘There are none.’

“Then do it.”

‘Understood. It is done. Dungeon 777 can be activated remotely. Do you wish to do it?’

The mark where the 1086 dungeon is on the map is shining.

“Do it.”

‘Understood. It is done.’

The mark where Unlucky Hall is starts shining too. And there’s a line connecting them.

‘Connected. Syncing with 777 dungeon complete.’

“What changed?”

‘There is no meaning to connecting two spots with the Linchpin System. Please connect three or more.’

“What will happen then?”

‘The lines connecting dungeons become boundaries, and no dungeons will appear within those boundaries, even if more dungeons are synced.’

“What!? W-what other effects does it have?”

‘Invalid. Administrative level too low.’

“Dah!!”

Dammit, not enough privileges again.

But considering the administrator level is the minimum requirement to use a function, it’s weird that it’s usable at level two. Could it be that the designer intentionally lowered the level required to make us get to level three?

Nice going, geez.

Anyway, I learned the thing I was most curious about, the permissions system unlocked at level two, so I’m somewhat satisfied…. But while I’m here, I’ll have to ask about this dungeon!

And so, I ask everything I can think of, and I learn three things.

・This dungeon has twelve floors.

・With my administrator rights, I can use a warp portal in the small room near the entrance that will take me to the closest land.

・The Grand Kraken is a boss that normally appears on the lowest floor once you meet certain conditions.

And after the warp portal is installed, I leave the administrator room.

Well he’s lucky he got to skip all 12 floors of that dungeon because that would have taken away too long.
