The sturdy and strong violet armor was further boosted by the elemental attack power and agility of the flaming armor.
Yui and the others gulped, as they saw Yuugo attack with enough power to deal damage through the resistance Zaraki’s had through loong power. But Yuugo was not done, and he unleashed fierce attacks without stopping.
“Uraaaaaaah!!”
“Nuguh!? Guh, ooooh!?”
He was attacked from the front, and then immediately after received an elbow from the side.
He tried to counter with a punch, and received a straight punch to the face for it as Yuugo matched that counter wonderfully.
Elbow, knee, fist, kick… Every time Yuugo attacked with the violet flaming armor, he left black scorch marks on Zaraki’s body, and peeled gray scales.
Zaraki groaned in pain after a hit to the stomach and bent over, and behind him, the violet flaming armor jumped with an impact.
Zaraki was being attacked practically one-sidedly, but he was not an ordinary opponent.
He somehow managed to follow Yuugo’s moves as he was attacked, and swung his fist despite being ready to fail.
“There! Let it all out!!”
Yuugo clenched his fist that was a size or two larger, and Zaraki thrust his straight ahead.
As Zaraki felt the pain of being hit in the face, he smiled because he felt his fist hit its target, the chest. But that smile was quickly painted over with surprise and pain.
“Agah!? Gaah!? Gafuh!”
Yuugo’s chest, and the fist that hit it, were covered in a violet flame.
There was the sound of meat being roasted and an unpleasant smell, and the intense heat made Zaraki scream. Yuugo’s kick made him bend backwards, and he fell on his back.
“Hey hey… Hey hey hey hey hey…!! are you crazy? What sane human would fight in an armor that hot?”
Said Zaraki while turning to his burned hand, and feeling the heat coming from it.
Phi and Angel looked on, thinking the same thing with almost tearful expressions.
“You big idiot…! The flaming armor alone is dangerous. What are you doing creating an armor with even more heat and weight!?”
The flaming armor caused great damage to its wearer, and in return boasted amazing performance.
That was dangerous enough… but Yuugo created something beyond it, that was basically a lump of danger.
It was theoretically possible, but should not have been feasible. Because of this, they never gave any thought to using both armors simultaneously, so how much training did Yuugo do until he was able to execute this?
Of course, Yuugo should know the dangers of the violet flaming armor, which was why he never used it.
He was wielding this power now knowing its danger, because he decided it was the only way to protect his friends.
Even though he had to throw out his promise to Angel and his pride as a hero, no matter what happened to him, he fought to protect the ones he wanted to keep safe.
Phi felt his big brother’s will, and with tears welling up in his eyes, asked Angel a question.
“Angel, how long can my big brother stay safe in that armor…!?”
“Thirty seconds! More than that, and he’ll definitely… die!”
The violet flaming armor continued to heat up, with no limit. No matter how much Yuugo tried to withstand the heat building up with his magic energy, he would hit his limit soon enough.
Angel told Phi she estimated the time limit to be thirty seconds, and Phi put his hands together and desperately prayed.
“Please be okay… big brother…!!”
Meanwhile, Yuugo continued his assault on Zaraki.
With fists and legs covered in violet flaming armor, he hit and kicked the Zaraki’s loong form, and pierced his defense with a raging torrent of hits and kicks.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaah!!”
“Guh, nuuo…!?”
Zaraki could do nothing. All he could do was strengthen his defense and bear it.
Yuugo moved faster than he could see, so if tried to counterattack, he would only receive a painful counter.
Even if both ended up hitting each other, the intense heat of the violet flaming armor meant Zaraki’s attack would deal damage to himself.
(What’s with this guy!? Is the guy fighting me really human!?)
He became half loong, boosted his power, and created the combat form that was his loong person form. He surpassed humans, but was pushed into a unilateral fight.
That was how much power this Yuugo had, so was he truly human? He could not help but question it.
He was hit and blown back again, and stumbled. He saw Yuugo’s heat getting close to the limit, and flames being unleashed with magic energy.
Everyone was surprised when a flaming explosion shook the ground, and Yuugo compressed the violet flames in his clenching fist.
“Blaster…!!”

Zaraki was also aware of the tremendous risk that came with the violet flaming armor.
He assumed there was a time limit, and Yuugo would unleash an attack to finish him off just before it came.
He saw Yuugo executing his finishing move, and thought that time had come, so he prepared to take it head on.
He could very well win. If he withstood this move and attacked with a painful counter, the tide should turn in his favor.
And above all else, he had his pride as someone that surpassed humans, so he could not accept running away.
He would win. Someone with the power of a loong would not lose to a mere human… As he roused himself, Yuugo howled with flames in his arm.
“Twin…!!”
The immense heat spread from his arm to his upper body, and then to the lower half.
He stubbornly surpassed the limits of his body by polishing his spirit to the limit, and with his eyes wide open, looked at Zaraki and attacked.
“Explosion!!”
“Uooooooooooh!?”
All Zaraki saw was a violet sun in the shape of a human coming for him.
Swirling flames enveloped Yuugo’s arm and violet flames rose from his whole body with magic energy. He thrust fast enough for even a loong person to struggle to see, and punched Zaraki.
There was an explosion the moment the punch connected, and the flames enveloping his body also exploded.
The others could not look directly at the two explosions, and reflexively faced down and waited for the impact to end.
Finally… the impact was gone, and they raised their heads. And were at a loss for words at the sight this clash created.
