Marcos responded, held up his shield, and charged.
Yuugo stepped to the side to dodge it and tried to hit Marcos from the side, but he immediately reacted and blocked.
“Eh! Not bad!!”
“You too! That is my lifelong rival!!”
Marcos’ reaction to the attack and defense were great, but Yuugo also thought about the next move as he dodged.
When he dodged the charge, he moved to the right side of his body where there was no Giga Scissors, to delay his defense, but Marcos still reacted in time.
Surely Marcos assumed the charge would not hit, and thought about what came next.
What would Yuugo do? Marcos knew, and reacted in kind. He then blocked attacks with Giga Scissors, and would execute a counter attack when he saw an opening.

Yuugo attacked with one two combos, a roundhouse kick, and a magic energy infused punch… and Marcos easily blocked it all.
He received a defensive buff, but Neries and the others were surprised to see him calmly block those ferocious attacks.
“Seriously…!? He was strengthened, but Marcos can take those attacks…?”
“I told you, Marcos really is strong. I don’t know anyone as good at defense.”
Velda understood Marcos’ greatness very well, as he saw him block attacks that easily blew him away.
Mizari seemed proud as she spoke, and Yuugo made his next move.
“You really won’t stumble so easily! Then I’ll do this!!”
“Nuh!?”
After saying that, Yuugo disappeared from Marcos’ sight.
The next moment, Marcos lost his balance thanks to a sweep, and fell on his butt.
People watching gasped, and Yuugo… Did not follow with another attack.
“Sorry, but I’m aiming here!!”
“Eh!? Ah! Ah!?”
Yuugo went after Neries, who was watching the fight… The supporter who buffed Marcos.
He infused his fist with magic energy with a big jump. Neries panicked as she saw Yuugo jump at her, and stayed in place without defending or dodging. And then…?

Yuugo’s body stopped in the air as he went after Neries.
Neries gulped when she saw him caught between golden magic energy scissors, and Marcos threw him hard.
“Uowah!?”
Yuugo was thrown in the opposite direction of Neries, let out a surprised yell, and bounced three times on the floor.
Neries watched as she was taken aback, and raised her head when Marcos approached her.
“…You are okay, right?”
“Y-yes. Thank you…”
“I don’t need a thank you, I did what was natural. But you need to be aware that you are a participant in this fight.”
“…!”
Marcos’ words made Neries tremble, as she realized she was just watching Yuugo and Marcos fight.
Marcos pointed out that she was not aware enough that she was a participant, unlike Velda or Mizari, and continued.
“If the enemy in front of him is a problem, the enemy should take down the person buffing him.. Yuugo’s decision made sense. In a real fight, you will be targeted relatively often. One of your duties is to take position in a way that the enemy can’t attack you, or you will be protected by your team if you are.”
“Y-yes…”
“Well, you did that because of your total confidence in me. But be careful next time.”
Who should she buff and what kind? When? Where should she be? There was a lot to think about.
