What if an artificial intelligence reincarnated in an underperformer’s body in another world? ~The result is super technology that will surpass anything in that world of magic – Chapter 29 – The artificial intelligence starts cutting down a hundred people – Part three

Edwin stood speechless as he watched the wretched state of the fifth division of Troy.

“It can’t be true…”

“Error. There is no falsehood to be found. You are wrong.”

Edwin’s eyes seemed to not be ready to accept defeat.

“Request cessation of any further hostile action. Any further hostile action will label you a high level threat that requires elimination.”

“B-but… What you did… Is an obvious crime!”

He wailed as his trembling finger pointed at Qualia.

“You’re not gonna get away with this! On Troy’s honor, every division will be mobilized to crush… I swear on the Ortgray name…”

“Type GUN.”

There was a sound from the photon weapon, and immediately afterwards, its barrel was touching Edwin’s forehead.

“You will be eliminated.”

Qualia declared robotically.

“I-I-I-I-I-I-I!?”

The shaken Edwin took a step back, then another, but Qualia followed him.

Edwin knew very well how powerful the beam was. It melted weapons, magic, people. His face turned blue at the thought of this killing light that went beyond his logic.

“Your existence poses a big risk to the continuation of Spirito’s vital activity.”

“I-i-i-i-if you kill me, m-my father, Marquis Ortgray, won’t let you get away with it… A-are you sure you want to go through with it!?”

“Marquis Ortgray will also be eliminated.”

“Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!”

He took into consideration the risk of ‘his heart dying’, but still, the risk of Edwin taking away Spirito, Lobelia, and Ina’s ‘tasty’ weighed more heavily on Qualia.

He was about to follow through with his optimized solution and pull the trigger, when…

“Stop! Qualia!”

“Big sister!?”

Lobelia came running and ordered the elimination to be stopped.

Spirito, who could do nothing but watch from the back, was also surprised by this sudden appearance.

“Geez. You could’ve at least told me where you were going. I’ve been looking all over the city for you.

And if you kill someone that easily, you’re going to make Ina sad. You’re too quick to fall to the darkness.”

“P-Princess Lobelia!?”

Exclaimed Edwin, who was still on the edge of death and was sweating profusely.

It seemed he also realized who Spirito was, by association.

“T-then you… P-Princess Spirito!?”

“You’re noticing that now? We are Spirito and Lobelia, princess and princess sisters combo.”

Lobelia said as she brought her face closer to the face of the perplexed Spirito, and showed a peace sign on her forehead.

Edwin was completely outclassed from an hierarchical point of view, and all he could do was open and close his mouth like a goldfish.

And Qualia still had his gun pointed at him.

“Proposal. Edwin poses a heavy risk to your ‘tasty’ in the future. Therefore, eliminating him here is recommended.”

“Now now. Let’s try to solve this in a more peaceful way.”

Lobelia lowered Qualia’s photon weapon, and looked at Edwin with a carefree smile and sharp eyes.

“Well then, Viscount Edwin. I have been thinking that you go just a bit too far, so I have been investigating you.”

“T-too far…?”

“Just like today, you have been using your chivalric order’s autonomy and the Ortgray name to apprehend and even kill people you don’t like. And I even heard you killed their innocent family members.”

“U-unthinkable! All we do is perform our duty…!”

“Well then, a month ago you had someone executed for the crime of treason. That same day, this person’s daughter was found floating near the harbor naked. Are those two things unrelated?”

Lobelia stood next to Edwin with a big smile on her face, but rather than feeling warmth from it, the smile carried enmity that felt below freezing to him, and sent a chill down his spine.

“I have received testimonies from various people. After doing something egregious, you strangled her and dumped her in the harbor. And you even set up a decoy. Is this something a chivalric order does? A noble? A person? Hello?”

“W-well…”

Edwin’s pale face was facing down, as sweat dripped from it like he was a criminal with his neck trapped in a guillotine.

“Your misdeeds have all been reported to Duke Kernel. Expect to hear from him soon.”

“Request explanation. Who is Duke Kernel?”

It was Spirito, who stood next to Qualia, who answered.

“An important noble of the Wirgin faction… And someone with a lot of influence over the chivalric orders. But when did you…”

Even as she explained it, Spirito was clearly bewildered.

But Edwin, who was being pressed by Lobelia, was more shocked.

“Not good uh? If old man Kernel becomes your enemy, the Ortgray family is finished. You’ll be out in the street without anything to even shelter you from the rain.”

“P-please no! I beg you! I will do anything!”

“Now now, Mister Edwin.”

Lobelia tapped the shoulders of a trembling Edwin.

“Don’t you think you’re asking for too much, to think you will be allowed to still be a noble after putting your hands on my sister and my friend? Hn?”

If Qualia’s eyes were like the empty void of space, Lobelia’s now felt like the coldest ice.

“I will destroy families like yours that take away people’s smiles, even if I have to use every connection and mobilize everyone I can. I’m not letting a single stone unturned.”

A few black-clad knights pressed forward from behind Lobelia.

It was clear they were strong, and had similar skills to Spirito. They walked as though they were the word ‘sublime’ given form and armor.

“Clearance… The chivalric order directly under Duke Kernel.. Did you call them, big sister…?”

“Yes. I borrowed them from Duke Kernel.”

The moment Clearance entered his field of vision, Edwin foamed from the mouth and collapsed.

As he saw Edwin being dragged away, Qualia reached a conclusion.

“Edwin has been incapacitated.”

“Yes. I’ll knock him down so hard, he won’t be able to do this again. I’ll handle the rest, but first…”

Lobelia straightened her back and put out her plump chest, as she looked at Spirito, who did not even attempt to hide her awkward expression.

“Let’s go back. Ina is waiting with a tasty meal.”

Man why are they so lenient to a person who murdered (straggled) an underaged girl and killed innocent families why is he being slapped in the wrist by just stripping his tittle?

Thanks for the chapter.

His title, his authority, his protection, his home, his wealth. In the end he’s left with nothing and won’t be able to do anything even if friends of the deceased went after him for revenge…
