“Hn… What are we gonna do…?”
In the corner of the Luminous Academy’s courtyard he called home, Yuugo crossed his arms and thought.
He was looking at his partner that went through fierce battles with him that month, the bracelet magic item that activated Blaster.
And as a serious expression formed on Yuugo’s face, Melt and Phi stood to the left and right of him, also thinking.
He let out noises as he thought, before picking the magic item up, and speaking with that same expression on his face.
“I need to grow if I’m going to be stronger, but I agree with Phi’s opinion that Blaster also needs to be improved. But how…”
“The appearance of that violet armor was basically a miracle. If you’re going to keep using Blaster, I think it needs to be powered up too.”
Said Melt, agreeing with Yuugo.
That was what was troubling them, the idea of reinforcing Blaster.
The incident with Rush happened not too long ago. Thankfully, Yuugo managed to beat him after he turned into a monster armor beast, but… He barely beat him due to a miracle.
What would have happened if that violet armor did not make an appearance? With that thought in mind, it was clear the armor needed to be improved.
“We don’t have any leads on who instigated Rush either. Who knows when the next incident might happen? Both Blaster and I need to be stronger when that happens…”
An unseen evil was still writhing in the shadows of the city. They could move out at any time, and bring about a second or third Rush.
Yuugo knew he had to be stronger, to fulfill his promise to Marcos, but he was not sure how.
“Increasing the metal particles within the bracelet any further won’t do much. At most, it will increase regeneration speed and the number of swords that can be created. But to increase performance…”
“You can’t think of anything either, Phi? Me and Melt also don’t have any ideas, so now what…”
If Phi, the most knowledgeable among them, had no ideas, there was nothing that could be done.
But that was no reason to give up, thought Yuugo, when Melt clapped her hands and spoke.
“All right! Then let’s consult a professional! Let’s go talk to the people over in the technical department!”
“Technical department? That’s a thing?”
“Yes, I was going to propose that too. Strengthening and improving magic items is the area of expertise of the students over in the technical department. They have a specialized studio too, and are much more knowledgeable than me. If you ask them, there might be people willing to help you.”
“A specialized studio to strengthen and rework magic items…!? That’s a really exciting sentence…!”
As Melt and Phi talked, Yuugo pictured a studio where people developed henshin items for tokusatsu heroes, weapons, and specialized machines.
His eyes shined brightly like a child’s, and he could not contain his excitement as he turned to the other two.
“Hey! Can’t they make a giant robot!? It could be one of those made up of other robots, but personally, I don’t think ones that transform on their own are anything to sneeze at either!”
“Hum, big brother… I don’t really know what you’re imagining, but I’m pretty sure they don’t have that…”
“I see… But they probably have all this awesome stuff like vehicles and weapons. Just hearing about it is already fun! My heart’s dancing, Phi!!”
Yuugo spoke on and on to his brother, with a slightly villainous expression. He had the face of a villain to begin with, so just making a slightly scary face was already bad.
Phi and Melt felt troubled, as Yuugo got way more excited than they expected, but Yuugo ignored it and continued to get fired up on his own.
“All right! Let’s go there right away! Where is it?”
“Not in the general curriculum area. It’s in the area next to it, so we have to walk a bit… Is that all right?”
“Of course! Wonderful items I’ve never seen before await me! I can’t wait!”
Yuugo was full of energy, and could not wait to visit the studio.
But that was their intention anyway, and Phi and Melt did not mind at all that Yuugo looked motivated and happy, so they took him to the studio of the technical department.
“Could they make a bike…? I really want a vehicle. But I guess I’d need a license…?”
…On the way there, Yuugo started muttering to himself, making the other two worry that he forgot about the original goal of making Blaster stronger. But still, they continued making their way to the studio.

when one become a kamen rider, having a bike is a must or else it will just be a kamen guy.
Considering they have trains in this world, won’t surprised me if they have bikes, either as an existing tech or eventually developed because of Yuugo
Sounds like Yuugo to me. I would be just as excited as him, and I would be muttering to myself at about 100 words per minute! Especially if there is any chance I can get a sick vehicle or get some wings on my armor!!!
