About the case of destruction flags being demolished after a nichiasa loving otaku was reincarnated as a villainous student – Chapter 101 – VS Bull Golems!

“Enemy detected! Three! The monster armor beasts are… Bull Golems!”

“What!? Are you sure!?”

“No doubt about it! They are charging forward with what appears to be the leader in the center, and one at either side!”

“It can’t be! Why are Bull golems forming a group…?”

Yuugo listened to a guard keeping watch and the captain receiving the report, and turned to Phi as if asking for an explanation. And Phi, despite also being clearly surprised, explained.

“Bull Golems are monster armor beasts that are very competitive with their kind. If they face each other, they fight until one runs or dies. It’s very irregular for them to be forming a group.”

That explanation confirmed to Yuugo that he was right.

They would normally fight among themselves to establish superiority, but learned to involve a third party by way of hunting, and found a new way of living. In a way, this was evolution.

These Bull Golems could not be allowed to escape. If others learned of these new traits, the normally solitary monster armor beasts would form factions and go out looking for prey.

This would cause immense damage to animals and humans. The Bull Golems had to be taken down here, before that happened.

(If we trace this back to the source, the incident started by Rush is still having effects. A person turning into a monster armor beasts would normally be impossible… Was that caused by a non-native species too?)

Some time had passed since that incident, but considering this, the incident in the Yum Yum Mountain, and the fact that classes were still suspended, it was clear its wounds had not healed.

Yuugo thought about Rush, who had turned into something that defied the laws of nature, and clenched his fists as he wondered if someone like him, who had reincarnated from another world, was not like a non-native species, and partially responsible for this situation.

Skull’s flames of revenge burned brighter as it sensed its hated enemies, and it charged towards the Bull Golems.

“Hihin!!”

“Ah!? Skull, wait!”

Yuugo tried to stop Skull, but it was to no avail. It charged straight towards the one that appeared to be the leader, and collided against it.

The force of its charge was about the same as theirs, but although the Bull Golem had it beat in terms of mass, and tried to grab it with its strong arms, Skull released flames from its whole body and pushed its enemy aside.

“Nice! Skull is really burning up!”

“There’s no way it wouldn’t be, with the ones that killed its friends right in front of it. But this isn’t good!”

Melt and Angel were impressed about Skull not being outdone by the leader of the monster armor beasts, but the group of Bull Golems surrounded it to hunt it as a group.

And as the two of them ran to help it against this numerical disadvantage, the guards also joined the fight.

“Don’t get flustered! This might be unexpected, but Bull Golems are Bull Golems! Their weakness is the same no matter how many there are! Attack with magic, not physical attacks!”

Bull Golems sported great defensive power thanks to their sturdy bodies that were covered in rock, but that only protected them against attacks from things like swords and spears, not against magic.

The guards stopped panicking as they heard their captain point this out, and followed his instructions as they started to attack the Bull Golems from a distance with magic.

“…Stand back, Phi. Don’t get caught in the fighting.”

“Y-yes!”

Yuugo shook his head, as if to rid himself of all those doubts in his mind, and spoke to Phi behind him.

He watched the guards attack the leader like they were supporting Skull, and the annoyed leader giving instructions to the other two. And as those two ran to attack them, Yuugo took a deep breath, and ran too.

(This isn’t the time to be worried or regretful over this possibly being my fault! I just gotta take responsibility with my own two hands!)

Even if this was partially his fault, stopping over regret for it would help no one.

Even if he did feel regret, what he had to do did not change. He would shoulder it all, and fight to protect many lives.

“Melt! An! Take care of that one! I’ll go after this one!”

“All right! Be careful Yuugo!”

Dealing with the minions before challenging the boss.

Taking down nuisances before finishing the main threat was a common thing in tokusatsu, and Yuugo charged at the two Blue Golems that went after the guards helping Skull, and were running towards them not practically on all fours like before, but in a bipedal fighting mode.

They made use of their muscles, and howled in a threatening way, but Yuugo continued glaring, not the least bit intimidated.

He clenched his fists, and yelled while infusing his bracelet with magic energy.

“Henshin!!”
