Hao’s feelings towards Precia went beyond respect for a senior, but Egos did a good job calming him down.
Perhaps he was putting to use negotiation techniques he honed during his time as a working man, or simply making use of his experience as an adult, but regardless, Shian listened and wondered how he could say those things.
He was surprised when he heard Yuugo was joining the quest that triggered when a player got along with a member of the cooking club, ‘I want you to procure ingredients with us’, but… He figured this was also a chance.
He could bring Yuugo down while they stayed there and worked, and take Angel and Melt, who for some reason became his friends, into his party (harem).
That was his goal, and Egos’. They had no intention of guarding Precia like Hao asked, and felt Yuugo could do whatever he wanted to her.
(Precia Rice… Sorry, but I don’t need a character with poor abilities…)
Precia Rice was the president of the cooking club, and two years older than the main character. Like Angel, she was a technician plus party member type character.
She was ranked as a tier B+ character, but had little room to grow, and was moderately helpful as a support character by using her cooking to heal and buff friendly characters.
It seemed she would also be the kind of character they would all be scrambling for, but for some reason, all the reincarnated students left her be.
The reason was actually quite simple, Precia was fat.
It should be said for the sake of Precia that she was definitely not obese. If anything, she had a body type close to an average girl her age… A healthy marshmallow shape.
But unfortunately, this world had girls like the main heroine Claire, Melt, who was a match for her, and Angel, who had an even more glamorous body. With so many girls with unreal bodies, Precia definitely seemed chubby by comparison.
Also, players did not treat her well, giving her the quite direct nickname Fat Chef, and the popularization of this nickname made Luminous History players look down on her even more than they would otherwise… And the reincarnated students were no exception.
Basically, she was seen as not very appealing, and the type of character the reincarnated students felt they would take if no one else would… This was why she was left alone, and was not invited to any party.
(It’d be pretty funny if that scum made a move on the Fat Chef. An and Melt would probably be creeped out too…)
Scum and fat, Shian laughed scornfully on the inside, thinking they were right for each other.
Again, Precia was definitely not obese, even if someone like Shian ignored what a normal girl’s body type and weight should be. She was not far from average.
Someone like Shian who had unrealistic expectations of girls only had them become higher after coming to this world.
And as Shian watched Precia and Yuugo speak, he grinned to himself.
(I need to get him to reveal his true self and disappoint Melt and An, or remove him from the picture… I need them free again, that should revive the flag. I’m not letting this chance get away.)
His knowledge of the game was not bad. Two reincarnated students most definitely had the best stats out of all the people present there, so if they teamed up, they could easily eliminate Yuugo, a tutorial boss.
But they could not put their hands on him directly, so they had to devise a clever plan.
Get Yuugo away from Melt and An, and make them theirs once they were free… They would get both great party members, and possible girlfriends in one fell swoop.
That would be killing two birds with one stone, but giving that scum what he deserved actually brought it up to three. Shian chuckled, thinking he would use the event that would happen in the village, and vowed to make his plan a success.
