“Gugyagagagagaga! Gugaaaah!!”
The arachlaw snared at Yuugo’s provocation and looked at him with hostility.
The monster armor beast seemed quite hungry, and was angry at its enemy for getting in the way of its meal.
It let its anger guide it as it thrust with its claws, but Yuugo easily saw through its attacks and countered with his own.
“Ah! Seyah! Taah!!”
“Gubegooh!?”
Yuugo attacked with a straight right punch after dealing with his enemy’s attack, followed with an elbow, and finished the sequence by sending it flying with a kick.
The arachlaw was surprised, as it was supposed to be attacking, but ended up beaten and rolling on the ground. And once it got up, this confusion was evident in its movements.
“Wow… It’s a low class one, but it’s such a one-sided fight against a monster armor beast…!”
Yuugo continued attacking it, steadily cornering it, and Precia was surprised by how much Yuugo’s power surpassed her expectations.
Phi was proud to hear his big brother being praised, while the arachlaw realized the odds were not in his favor in a straight fight, and attacked with another weapon in its arsenal, string.
“Fshh! Shhh!!”
“Hn!? I’m not letting you!!”
The arachlaw switched targets to the others, but Yuugo stood in front of them as his enemy spit out its string.
But that was what the arachlaw wanted, as it tried to immobilize Yuugo as he held his arms up in a cross. It managed to render his arms immobile as it wanted, and squinted with joy, but…?
“Why are you acting like you won? You think you can stop me so easily!?”
“Gyagih!?”
The string binding Yuugo’s arms was enveloped in red flames.
He suddenly freed himself from the string, and unleashed a powerful flaming attack to the arachlaw.
“Uoraah!!”
“Gugyagih! Guh, gah!!”
The arachlaw realized the string was not going to stop Yuugo, and was pretty much out of cards to play.
Still, it looked for a way to counterattack, and held up its sharp claw to swing down at Yuugo, but then the violet armor made an appearance, as if to deny it of even that.
“Super henshin!! Uoryah!!”
“Gyapiih!!”
The arachlaws dear claws were no match for the thick, heavy, and tough armor.
And once the tip of its claw was broken by the toughness of the armor, the monster lost its will to fight.
“Ah! Y-yes! President, do you have a sharp object!? Like a knife! If you do, let me borrow it!”
“E-eh!? I do but… Hold on a second!”
The fight was pretty much over, all that was left was to finish off the monster armor beast.
Phi called out to Precia, looking for the materials to make a sword, but since she was cautious with how she stored things like kitchen knives, she could not take one out very quickly.
Meanwhile, the boy, Shiroi, took out a stone knife, and handed it to Phi.
“H-hey, will this do?”
“Yes! Let me borrow it!! Big brother, here!!”
He thanked Shiroi for giving him what he needed, and threw the knife at Yuugo.
It drew a parabola until it was caught by Yuugo, who transformed it into a tough sword after nodding to his little brother, and faced the enemy he needed to take down.
“Thanks you two! Let’s finish this!”
“Gujyuh…!?”
The arachlaw stumbled as it took steps back, retreating from the sword-wielding knight that approached one step at a time.
As he moved forward, Yuugo activated the new feature added by Phi, and enveloped the sword in flames. When he got close enough, he thrust it into the abdomen of the monster armor beast, and finished it off by injecting it with flames and magic energy on the inside.
“Calamity Burn Crash!!”
“Gugyaaaaaaaaaaah!!”
The arachlaw let out its last scream, after being stabbed with the sword and burned from the inside.
Yuugo pulled the sword back, and just as he turned back to the others, the monster armor beast fell, and its burning body exploded in all directions.
“You did it, big brother!”
“Easily beating a returning kaijin is a cliche. And there’s no way I can lose with the feature you added.”
Yuugo undid the transformation, and pat his little brother’s head after he came running.
The black iron sword was turned back into a stone knife, so Yuugo gave it back to its owner and thanked him.
“Thank you, I beat that monster armor beast thanks to you. Here you go.”
“Y-yes…”
Shiroi was thanked by the hero who defeated the monster right in front of him, using something of his as a weapon no less, and felt happy, despite still being confused.
Precia looked on with a smile, and clapped before speaking to them.
“It was dangerous, but we managed to safely find the boy who ran away from home… How about we return to the village!?”
“About that, president. Something stuck out to me…”
Precia wanted to deliver Shiroi back to the village, but Yuugo told her what the boy said just before the arachlaw attacked.
He did not just run from home, and what they were told was a lie. Once Precia heard Shiroi’s testimony from Yuugo’s mouth, she responded with a confused and baffled expression.
“So we were tricked? What is the meaning of this?”
“I don’t know either, but I don’t think we should hand Shiroi back to the people of that village. We should listen to him first…”
Precia had an iffy expression on her face, but nodded.
Now that Precia agreed, Yuugo got down on one knee again to face Shiroi, and asked him a question.
“Shiroi, you said you didn’t run from home, right? Then why were you alone in the forest? Can you tell us what happened?”
“…I did run away, but everyone was acting weird… Mom and dad, and everyone else in the village! It’s like they turned into different people!”
