“Miko who worship loong… Then I guess they wouldn’t be used to fighting.”
“Not necessarily. I heard they have what they call combat miko, who use magic items crafted from materials granted by loong. And if they’re coming to an academy famous for its systems to develop magic knights, I think it’s safe to say they have at least some training in fighting.”
Said Mizari and Angel, about the three exchange students they knew about.
They were miko who worshiped loong, and probably combat miko at that, so everyone seemed interested.
“Well, they’re still miko. I imagine they are graceful modest ladies, not like the girls around us.”
“Hey, what’s that supposed to mean? We’re plenty modest and graceful. There’s nothing modest about my cup size though.”
“You really say too much, Marcos. I can see why you’re disliked~!”
As always, Marcos said something disagreeable, and the girls let him know it.
The room became noisy, as Phi smiled awkwardly, and then noticed his big brother was quiet.
“What’s wrong, big brother? You’re so quiet.”
“Hn? Am I?”
“Phi is right. I thought for sure you would start going on about how combat miko reminds you of this or that. I’m surprised by your lack of reaction.”
Said Hao, agreeing with Phi, and with a similar awkward smile.
And then, despite it being hard to do so with his friends all looking at him, he voiced his concerns.
“Well. More than half of those exchange students are girls, right? I don’t want to think about that too much, but I can’t help but be worried about people like Shian and Egos doing something weird…”
“Ah…”
The others could not help but agree.
They thought back to what those three had done recently, as Yuugo continued.
“I want to imagine they won’t, but what if? What if they harass them like they did Melt and An… Wouldn’t that be terrible?”
“Yes. They are from noted families in Yamato. If someone touched them without permission, it would be seen as a disrespect that could spark a conflict between countries.”
“When I became stronger thanks to your guidance, Shian contacted me right away. There is a good chance he will try to make contact with the exchange students.”
“The big problem is that they really might be up to something… I’d like to think they wouldn’t, but we can’t trust them after everything they’ve done.”
Said Angel.
“Remember what happened in the village… They were tricked and weren’t in the right state of mind, but they were about to sacrifice Shiroi. They’re cold, or like, they can’t feel kindness…”
“They didn’t care what happened to the villagers, they were just angry about their virginity being robbed…”
“Aren’t they a much bigger embarrassment to the academy than Yuugo could ever be? And since Zenon and Isaac were no good either, I’m thinking we can’t trust any of those so-called hero prospects.”
“Come to think of it… I heard one of those exchange students is a girl that enrolled in elementary school.”
“O-oh, I see! I hope you can be friends, Phi!”
…Said Yuugo with a bright tone, but… He was still feeling anxious.
He was not the only one. Phi also looked unsure.
Would they really… They would not put their hands on an elementary school student, would they? They all wondered.
That would not just be an international incident, it would be a crime. They all thought this, but no one could actually say it, so an awkward air filled the room until Marcos spoke.
“So Phi said the fourth exchange student will be in elementary… That leaves one, which I imagine is the lone boy. Apparently he will also be entering our high school.”
“Oh! A guy too! I hope we can be friends! So what’s he like?”
There were only girls so far, so Yuugo wanted to know more about the boy.
But when asked, Marcos’ expression turned a little awkward, as he plainly stated what he knew.
“This is just a rumor… But apparently he’s an incredible swordsman. To the point where everyone in his academy in Yamato admitted he was the strongest.”
