“…Yui, wait there with Phi, this will be over soon.”
Riel looked furious about Phi’s provocations and Ryuuga suddenly cutting in.
She moved fast enough to leave afterimages, scraping her swords against the wall and floor in an intimidating manner, damaging them as she approached her three targets. She took aim at the cowering Yui and swung her twin swords down, but… A blade coming from the side easily stopped her.
“Wha…!?”
“I knew you would do that. It’s just like a coward to target someone weaker.”
Ryuuga easily saw through Riel’s moves, and taunted her with a cold tone of voice.
This angered Riel even more, making her change targets to Ryuuga and continue her mad sword dance.
“Coward? You call one who went above humanity and evolved a coward!? You’re not getting away with this!”
She swung both swords around, attacking Ryuuga to try to cut him.
It seemed he was so overwhelmed blocking both swords with his that he had no time to counterattack.
“There there there! What’s wrong? I’m just going to cut you apart if you don’t do something!”
Riel felt she had the advantage, and howled with a confident tone once again.
Ryuuga was being slowly driven back, and Riel mocked him as if paying back for everything leading up to this.
“So you acted all cool running to save your sister, and you can’t do anything!? Help, big brother! It was so funny how she pathetically wailed! What’s her face going to be like when I cut you down in front of her? It’s going to be filled with despair, right!!”

Ryuuga let Riel continue her taunting, as he dealt with the storm that was her swords.
She was convinced she was cornering him, and there was nothing he could do about it. She grinned as she ridiculed not him, but the one who he cared about the most.
“Ah, but… That’s not gonna work, is it? She can’t see, she won’t know when her dear big brother is being killed! That’s nice, she doesn’t have to see her big brother die like a dog!”
“…”
“You and her are the same! The weak are to be fed to the strong! That is the reality of this world, and its fate! You’re destined to be trampled by us!!”
With that, her swings intensified further.
The sound of swords clashing echoed, and she was convinced she was steadily overpowering Ryuuga.
“Let’s end this! And after that, I’ll end the defective product that is your blind sister… Eh?”
Riel swung her swords in an X shape, a move that was supposed to cut Ryuuga’s head, but… It did not feel right.
As she was swinging, both swords were bent. Or rather, they were actually cut.
Riel looked at them, seeing it obviously looked like something sharp had cut them, but for a moment, did not understand what happened.
And… Right after, she felt bloodlust that made her instincts raise alarm bells, and her whole body broke out into a sweat as something slammed her against a wall.
“Gaha! Eh? Eh…?”
“You’re tougher than I thought. I should be a little more serious.”
Said Ryuuga quietly, as he confirmed how she was and a gasp escaped from her lungs.
It seemed she suffered no physical damage, but being slammed against a wall without understanding why shook her spirit a lot. She could only look at Ryuuga with shock.
“…It wouldn’t be nice to get too serious and cut you in half in front of Yui and Phi, so… I was seeing how much power I could use without you dying… But I need to reconsider that, because I’m a little pissed.”
“Y-you were holding back? Wait, are you…!?”
She wanted to call this a coincidence, say she was bluffing… But thinking back to how Ryuuga saw through her first attack and blocked it made her lose her composure even more than before, along with her words.
Just before she blew him away, he cut her twin swords and attacked her… She did not feel him moving at all, and this realization made her clenched fists tremble, as Ryuuga continued speaking plainly.
“The weak are to be fed to the strong and are destined to be trampled… You said. Then I have something to say to you, as someone stronger than you.”
He quietly raised his sword at his enemy, and his magic energy emerged like blue flames carrying anger.
There was no mercy on his face, as he looked at the monster armor beast and spoke as if thrusting a truth at her.
