“…Phi? What’s wrong?”

Phi was not looking at him.

Yuugo had a bad feeling about what Phi said while looking far away, and looked around him.

And at that moment, he heard a scream coming from the school building.

“What…? Did something happen?”

“Hey, this is weird! The noise keeps getting louder!”

“…Phi, don’t stray away from me. Stay as close as possible.”

“Y-yes…!”

At this point, Yuugo was also aware that something weird was going on.

He pulled Phi close to him, and looked where the noise was coming from while concentrating to activate Blaster at a moment’s notice. When he felt some sort of presence walking towards him, he clenched his fists.

There was the rustling sound of something walking through grass. Then it suddenly stopped, and there was silence for a moment.

And then… The next moment, a dark shadow leaped out and attacked the student that grabbed Yuugo before.

“Uwah! Uwaah!?”

“W-what!? What is that!?”

The scream of the student echoed as that black something slammed into him, and at the same time, it also attacked the other students who hung around Rush.

It also went towards Yuugo and Phi, but Yuugo brushed it away and kicked it, and gulped when he saw his attacker on the ground.

“Dammit! Another crab!? Why do I have some sort of connection to these things!?”

Yuugo groaned with annoyance when he saw small crabs with black shells.

Marcos, that man from the other day, and now this. As he wondered why crabs kept coming at him, he aimed for their weak point, and stomped them in the belly.

“Calm down, don’t panic! There are a lot of them, but they’re not that strong! If you keep calm and deal with them, you don’t even need to transform or anything!”

Yuugo said to the students that were scared by the sudden appearance of the crabs and lost their cool, as he took one out, then another.

As Phi watched his brother, not transformed into Blaster, helping the students who were being attacked, he spoke to him with fear on his face.

“Big brother, what’s going on? Why are monsters like these in the school?”

“I dunno. Did that monster armor beast do this too? Did it get inside the school…?”

Crabs reminded them of the kaijin that got away the other day, but… This was an academy that trained magic knights, and Yuugo also heard it had good security.

Would that man really be able to evade the guards looking for him and sneak into the Luminous Academy? Not to mention that he did not seem to have this ability to spawn underlings the last time they fought.

The screams in the school building led them to believe there were also crabs inside.

“B-big brother! Look over there!!”

Yelled Phi while pointing, and when Yuugo turned to look, he saw a young man staggering his way towards them.

The man with the gray hair took two steps, then another, before falling to the ground like he reached his limit. Yuugo rushed towards him and called out to him.

“Hey, hang in there! Zenon! What happened!?”

“Au, guh, uaah…! Guuh…!”

“…These wounds look terrible. How did the man who beat you in a duel…!?”

Whispered a dumbfounded Phi, as he saw Zenon’s terribly ripped uniform, and wounds all over his body.

He was supposed to be one of the strongest students in the academy, and he was that badly hurt… Thought a surprised Phi, as Yuugo carried Zenon, and spoke to him.

“We need to get him to the infirmary! If we leave him here, he’ll be crab food!”

“Y-yes!”

Phi ran after his big brother, as he carried Zenon.

The two brothers ran through the academy that fell into a state of panic. And as Yuugo looked at the face of the fainted Zenon, he spoke quietly.

“What happened to you, mister hero? Weren’t you stronger than me? Who beat you…?”
