An exclusive mage who broke up with his alchemist childhood friend, wants to lead a slow life in a remote town – Chapter 106 – Blacksnake’s tears – Part six

It took some time, but Iris has been reunited with Sephilia.

That means things have settled for now… Is what I think, but then a guy suddenly runs towards us.

“Hey! What’s the meaning of this!? Why is Iris outside!?”

It’s the crown prince Ghise, who is clearly angry and has a few guards with him.

Izekiel looks at us, gives us a small nod, and approaches Ghise with a grin on her face.

“Oh dear, Prince Ghise. That anger is spoiling your handsome face!”

“Izekiel! Did you let Iris out!?”

“Indeed. I just struck a deal with the princess to… Kyah!?”

Ghise lets his anger guide him, as he interrupts Izekiel with a slap.

Izekiel falls face down.

“Silence! You’re nothing but a replacement for Iris, you don’t get to do things behind my back!”

Izekiel raises her head. Her composed face has turned into surprise, like she can’t believe what just happened, as she looks up at Ghise.

“G-Ghise. I analyzed the situation, and judged this to be the best move…”

“Shut uuuup! No excuses! You failure that doesn’t even have holy power!”

Ghise raises his hand at her again.

Then what sounds like a bone cracking echoes.

Ghise kicks her face with full force, and steps on it as she lies on the ground.

“O-ouch!? S-stop it Ghise! That hurts!”

“I don’t need you anymore! Iris is back! You’re just going to get in the way, so go back to where you came from!”

Smack smack bam! Violence again and again.

Izekiel covers her head and turtled up, as she raises pained sounds.

This is so sudden, that we’re aghast at Ghise’s violent behavior.

The revelation that Izekiel has no sacred power is shocking, but Ghise’s unreasonable violence makes me angry.

I don’t know about politics, and I’ve only just met Izekiel, so I have no idea what things are like between them.

But it should be clear to anyone that this right here is one-sided.

I approach them, and call out to Ghise.

“Hey Ghise.”

“Ah?”

The moment this trash turns to me, I punch him in the face.

His front teeth bend, and he falls on his back while bleeding from the nose.

“Stop just doing whatever you want.”

“Ah!? You’re that guy! Loyd!”

Ghise points at me with anger.

I don’t remember introducing myself that time, but he knows my name.

White Rose or someone close to her probably gave him information about me. Not that it matters now.

“It’s been half a year, and you’re the exact same. It’s nice to see you’re still trash. I’ve never seen someone who cares this little about hitting someone else.”

“Damn you! You think you can lay your hands on me and just go!? I’ll kill you!”

“Kill me? You sure love to spew about things you can’t do. Just so you know, I’m not holding back this time. Your little revenge plot bothered a lot of people, so I’ll make sure you don’t think about revenge ever again!”

I declare as I cast Full Grow and release magic energy to the fullest.

My magic energy is burning with my anger, enveloping me with a powerful flaming pillar.

Ghise looks dismayed as he sees this, and yells to the guards in the castle.

“Heey! Guard guards! Kill this traitor!”

“““““““““Yes! As you command!”””””””””

The guards follow his orders and draw their swords. It doesn’t look like they can be talked down.

Of course, at this point, I’m not thinking about settling things peacefully either.

I’ll make Ghise nod his head by force.
