I’m taken by Aurelia to a reception room. It looks simple, with just sofas and a table, but the furniture itself is of higher quality than the stuff in the reception room in the ministry of magic. Franchet isn’t the top selling brand of magic items, but it’s still very successful.
“It’s fluffy.”
“Ririi, settle down.”
I say to Ririi, who sat on the sofa and is jumping up and down on it. She instead starts fidgeting, probably because she can’t sit still.
Hm… I’m getting worried about what she’s going to be like during class in school…
Ririi has never done any group activities or anything like that. Can she sit still during class and not bother anyone?
“Thank you for waiting.”
Aurelia sits in front of me, and places a few documents on the table. It’s probably a written contract about the sale of materials.
I start looking through them, and see that’s exactly what they are. It says that once sold, they can’t be returned no matter what, that I can’t tell other people how much I got for them, and other things.
“Hm…?”
Ririi is leaning on the table to get a closer look at the documents. She looks really interested, even though I’m sure she doesn’t understand them. The words we use in everyday conversation and the words used in this sort of contract aren’t the same.
Even an intelligent high elf isn’t going to know this sort of thing without being taught.
“Before I explain the contract, is it possible to check the materials?”
Aurelia asks while looking directly at me. At first glance she just looks like a merchant, who isn’t feeling anything in particular, but I’m sure that’s not true.
Some young guy showed up all of a sudden and asked if he could sell materials from a crystal dragon, an SSS rank monster. There’s no way she isn’t at all suspicious.
“They’re here.”
I say while putting the magic bag on the table. It looks like a normal bag, but its storage capacity increases in response to the owner’s magic energy.
If someone other than the owner infuses it with magic energy, they can tell what’s inside.
“Excuse me.”
Says Aurelia as she hangs her hand over the magic bag.
“…”
Her eyebrows are moving because she sees that not only am I telling the truth, but there are actually two in there.
“Did you check?”
“…Yes. There appears to be two inside, but…”
“I want to sell the headless one. I’m going to use the horn of the other.”
“…Understood.”
Aurelia’s words lack the sharpness from before. I don’t know what she’s thinking, but her eyes are going all over the place. Actually, I’m pretty sure I know what’s going through her mind.
How is it that these crystal dragons were defeated when there are so few records of them ever being hunted?
Who is this man in front of her?
…How much is this worth?
And I’m sure there are many more questions running around in that sharp elf mind of hers.
“…About the price…”
I assume she’s worked out most of the questions in her head, but I stop her before she can continue.
“I don’t need money, I have some conditions instead.”
“…Conditions?”
Aurelia raises her eyebrows and braces for whatever it is I’m going to say. She’s probably thinking I’m going to ask for something outrageous, if I’m willing to give her a crystal dragon for free.
“First, I want you to make a magic dress with crystal dragon materials. And I want the remaining materials to go into making a dress for Ririi. Those are my conditions.”
“Ririh?”
Ririi looks at me, confused about suddenly hearing her name. Aurelia keeps looking back and forth between us, but eventually snaps out of it.
“…Hum… And that’s it…?”
“Yes. I want to see Ririi in a dress. If you don’t have enough materials, I’ll go hunt another one.”
“Not enough… Are you sure about this…?”
“I am. We’re living together just the two of us, but I don’t really need money.”
Sieglinde got us a house for free, so I still have quite a bit of money saved up.
“Ririh can wear a dress!?”
It sounds like Ririi understands what’s going on, and looks at me and Aurelia with an expectant look in her eyes.
“Rejoice Ririi, this lady will be making a dress for you.”
“Uu~~~…! Ririh will be a princess?”
“Yes, a very cute princess.”
“Hehehe… Princess Ririh…”
Ririi starts jumping on the sofa again.
“Don’t jump on the sofa, Ririi.”
“Wawah.”
I grab Ririi and hold her on my lap as I sign the contract.

I wanted to let you know how much I value your work. The image quality is especially impressive. I’m wondering if you could share where you found such beautiful pictures
Thanks for the chapter Hidamarisou! The most pampered princess haha.
I was expecting the owner asking about the origin of ririh, since both of them are elves…
Japan’s make-you-want-to-have-a-child scheme works very well
