I was reincarnated on an island where the strongest species live, so I will enjoy a peaceful life on this island – Chapter 132 – Meeting up

We get home on Tiltue’s back, and Reina and the others are outside looking up at us.

Graham is among them, and he walks towards us as we land.

“Hey big brother. I came to visit.”

“Welcome. Looks like we missed each other.”

“Yes. I didn’t want to keep going back and forth.”

Meanwhile, Ceres says hello to Reina.

Apparently Reina also heard what happened, so she’s not surprised to see her with us

But it looks like Reina is also being pushed back by the deep emotions inside Ceres.

“I’m back, Snow.”

“Welcome…!?”

When we go inside, I see Snow playing by herself, but she doesn’t show any sign that she’ll run towards me.

But just as she’s about to start playing again, she notices Tiltue, and turns this way again with a surprised expression.

“Darling…”

“Yes, thanks.”

“I haven’t said anything yet.”

Looking at Snow getting ready to charge, with her eyes sparkling, is enough for me to know what’s about to happen.

And I’m not the only one. Tiltue has a look of resignation on her face.

We leave Tiltue, and sit on sofas in the living room to talk about what happened.

I say that, but since I already heard about it from Ceres, and Reina from Graham, we’re basically just confirming it.

“So what are you going to do now, Ceres?”

That’s the talking point where we land. She could stay in Graham’s place, but I think it’d be pretty hard for a human to live there.

“Yes… I want to look for Arc and Erie, but I don’t think I can walk around this island on my own…”

“Arata…”

“Yes, let’s help Ceres look for her friends.”

“I’ll also tell the others to bring the humans here if they find them.”

“Thank you.”

Zephir is in the demon gods’ village, and I’ll also tell Suzaku and Elga in the divine beast people’s village.

They wouldn’t do anything bad to them, and I’m sure they would take them in.

“Should I also tell the great spirits near the alfar village?”

I go to where Snow is clinging to Tiltue, and ask her if anyone’s around.

“Hum, gramps is there!”

She says while pointing to a faint green light.

It disappears when I approach it, but I can still feel a presence. He’s probably just closing his eyes.

“Mister Giarth, I assume you’re listening. If you find humans you don’t know, can you let them stay with you?”

“…”

“Ah, and it would help if you told Miss Sheryl and Mister Guen too.”

“…”

“Thank you.”

I purposefully don’t wait for an answer.

He wants to be treated like he’s not here, but I’ve known him long enough to know he won’t ignore a request from us.

“Hum, what was that, Mister Arata?”

“Hum, let me explain again.”

I take out the map I got from Elga to explain the situation on this island.

Graham doesn’t usually care about this sort of thing, but he also looks in with interest.

I’d like to talk about Sakuya too, but people’s lives are on the line right now.

“I’ll go to the alfar village and where the great spirits live.”

“And I’ll go to the divine beast people’s village.”

“Yes…”

We have a path to the divine beast people’s village, and monsters don’t tend to get close to it.

It’s safe, but we never know what might happen, so I’d like someone to go with Reina…

“I’ll watch over big sister.”

“That’s reassuring, but can you go to the divine beast people’s village, Graham?”

“Luna and Elga are there, so I’m sure it’ll be fine. And I’ll have big sister with me.”

“I see. Please do that then.”

There aren’t any wars over territory on this island, but there are still lines drawn to some extent.

A lot has become vague since I got here, but they’d still be surprised if an ancient dragon appeared all of a sudden.

I think it’d be best if Tiltue went, but her duty right now is to play with Snow.

But then again, if I’m going to the alfar village, maybe I should bring her along.

“Snow, snow.”

“What?”

I call out to her in a room where she keeps her toys, and she walks over to me.

“I’m going to the alfar village. Do you want to come along?”

“Hm…”

“You can see Katima too.”

“Let’s go!”

I figured it wouldn’t mean much because Katima comes here all the time, but apparently not.

Maybe it’s different when Snow goes to her village. Kind of like going to grandma’s place in the summer, I guess?

“What about you, Tiltue?”

“I-I’ll take a break…”

She looks in tatters from playing with Snow.

My daughter is a scary girl, to exhaust a girl of one of the strongest races so fast.

“Then can you explain what’s going on if someone drops by?”

“Yes.”

We should let Merlin and the others know too. They probably don’t think of Ceres and the others as friends, but they did come from the same place.

Not to mention that I’d rather if they didn’t think about their titles and that sort of thing from before they came to this island.

I go to Merlin’s place, and Xellos is here, so that saves me time.

“Can you look for Cara and Seti while you’re at it?”

“Seti is one thing, but it’d be trouble if we left Cara out there…”

Cara Marguerite and Seti Balder. The two people from the seven great mages I haven’t met yet. Apparently they go around together a lot.

Both look like they’re in their early twenties. Cara has long wavy blonde hair and wears a habit, and Seti has short green hair, but typically wears white armor, so that would be hard to see.

Then again, no one wears armor on this island, so he’d be easy to spot.

“We’ll bring them here if we find them.”

“Yes. They’re our colleagues despite everything, so it wouldn’t feel great if they died.”

“I hope you find them, but they’re members of the seven great mages. They should be able to look after themselves, and if they can’t, it’s over.

They’re pretty nonchalant compared to how Ceres was about her friends.

Their relationship is probably more dry. Reina was like that with these two at first too.

Maybe that will change as the days go by on this island. Suffice to say, I’d prefer if the seven great mages got along, so I’ll help if I can.

“Daddy, can we go?”

“Ah, sorry.”

I’m still holding Snow, but she doesn’t sound too happy.

I guess she’s looking forward to going to Katima’s place more than I expected.

Come to think of it, it might be her first time going back there.

Maybe I’ll visit Miss Sheryl while I’m there.

I already asked Mister Giarth, but I’m scared of her finding out we were in the alfar village and didn’t visit…

With that thought in mind, we fly north.
