We’re only let out of the darkness prison two hours later.
“Welcome back daddy.”
“You sure slept a lot.”
“Hehehe.”
So cute.
Waiting for two hours feels like nothing now that I’m looking at this slightly embarrassed face.
““…””
Well, these two are the ones who experienced the most stress…
Erie and Cara are sitting on the floor like their souls left their bodies.
“Come on, they’re being a bother, so take them already.”
“Take them you say…”
My house is pretty far from here.
I could go back while holding Snow, but taking these two…
“Ah, we could use your thing, Miss Sheryl.”
She uses some sort of darkness gate when she comes over to visit.
I could use that to take them back.
“Hum, you know, like this… Oh?”
Why did the Storage Magic come out?
I’ve been learning things by imitation without any trouble so far.
“What are you doing?”
“Well, you know that thing you use to send me away? I was going to use that magic, but it didn’t work…”
“…Ahh…”
Uwah, she looks really exasperated.
“Don’t look at me like I’m an idiot like that…”
“But I am looking at an idiot. Why did you think that would work?”
Because I have cheats from god, but I can’t say that, and laugh it off.
“I can use most magic I see.”
“Daddy’s great.”
“…That’s all fine and good, but not with the gate. Only an astral body like myself can pass through it, not beings of flesh.”
She says it’s a path only spirits and ghosts can traverse.
And apparently what she uses to send me away is a different kind of magic.
“Ah, that’s right. I can use this one.”
It’s like a teleport.
I move around in the air, and Erie and Cara look at me with incredulous eyes.
Oh no, people are going to treat me even less like I’m human…
I stop doing that, and clear my throat.
“Hn… So I guess we have to walk home?”
“Can’t you fly with those two?”
“Well…”
I look at Cara, then at Erie.
It would be one thing if it was just Snow and Erie…
“Hey, what are you looking at and comparing?”
I know. She’s already mad, so if I told Erie what’s on my mind, it would just make things worse.
Cara then makes fun of Erie before she can continue, so I’m glad her anger switches targets to her.
“Are we walking home…?”
“Yes…”
Is there another way?
But then all of a sudden we’re outside the temple.
““…!?””
The two mages are surprised, but it was obviously Miss Sheryl’s doing.
Still, we really were just suddenly out here.
“That really shows the difference in power.”
I can copy magic, but not control it as well as Reina. And Miss Sheryl is basically a god compared to a regular mage.
“But she didn’t have to throw us out… Hn?”
I hear wings flapping so I look up, and see a small black dragon coming down.
“Tiltue!”
“W-what’s that!?”
“Eek!? What magic power!?”
I called someone to take you, so go away already.
I hear Miss Sheryl’s voice in my head, and Snow’s happy voice next to me.
And of course, the two girls frightened by more magic power than they have ever felt.
It all mixes together, but…
“Two left.”
I’ll think about where to look next when I meet up with Reina.
◇ ◇ ◇
I’ve told them about the darkness prison, and some things about this island, but I guess a picture is worth a thousand words.
I think trembling on top of Tiltue like that is teaching them a lot about this island.
“Nevermind understanding… Who would believe this if someone told them?”
“Y-yes!”
“Don’t turn to me.”
Anyway, Tiltue is a nice girl who wouldn’t hurt them, so I’m glad they get that.
Apparently Erie’s magic energy is special, and kind of troublesome from Miss Sheryl’s point of view. If she swung it around, she would get angry and turn her to ash, I guess.
It doesn’t look like Cara could cause harm, but it looked like seeing darkness magic used haphazardly ticked her off.
In any case, both were having a tough time, so I’m glad I got them out.
“So, hum… Mister Arata.”
“Don’t call me that. All that stuff about me being a god was a misunderstanding by Ceres. I’m just a normal human.”
““…Human?””
Why the question mark, hum?
“Well, he might be a little strange, but he’s human. I guess…”
“Daddy’s daddy!”
“That’s right, I’m me. Don’t be so on edge with me.”
“Yes… Then I’ll call you Arata.”
“Me too.”
“Okay, thanks you two.”
I’m glad they’re finally relaxing here on Tiltue’s back.
After all, it’s all girls here except me.
Reina and Luna for example are one thing, but I’m pretty nervous with people I just met.
“Ah, sorry Tiltue, but can you pass by the alfar village?”
“Hm…”
“Tiltue? What’s wrong?”
I get an awkward response from her, and she speaks quietly.
“More girls around you… Well, I should brace for this, as your first wife…”
“…”
Let’s pretend we didn’t hear that.
I really don’t see a future where anything happens between me and these two.

Thanks for the treat.
