That was a deadly battle yesterday.
I was thinking about taking the day off, but I’m still inclined to go to the dungeon for some reason.
I stop by the weapons section first, so I can buy a new breastplate, and a shield I can attach to my arm.
My budget is fifty thousand yen, because of what I got yesterday.
Goblin weapons are all low quality, and even the iron ones have to be crushed, but there were a lot of them, so if we don’t count the treasure chest, it was my most profitable day.
Also, the greatsword held by the adult goblin can’t be sold, so I’m going to use it.
It didn’t chip after all those intense blows, so it’s definitely going to help me. Not to mention that by using Trace and copying the adult goblin’s moves, I already know how to use it. I need to practice, but I’m pretty confident.
Let’s check my stats too.
I now have a Storage Space skill.
I give it a try when I enter the dungeon, and the greatsword disappears into a rift in the air. But I bring it back by putting my hand in it.
…This is really useful.
I can put everything I carry here and take it out easily. I don’t know how much it can hold, but it’s a chance to increase my income.
I can now bring back things I would leave behind because I couldn’t carry it. That alone will be profitable. I’m excited, I keep getting nice stuff.

Here on the tenth floor, there are no new monsters. It has jumbo frogs, numbing moths, and goblins. But the encounter rate is really high, and more monsters appear at once.
I can’t let my guard down.
I swing my greatsword, and take them down.
I have Poison Resistance, so I don’t mind the numbing moth scales.
The fact that I fight monsters a lot here means it’s a good place to practice with the greatsword.
I swing it while copying the moves of the adult goblin, and correct myself when I’m a bit off. That’s all I do, and five monsters go down.
…I can’t let my guard down.
Next, I try attacking with a combination of magic and the greatsword.
Two numbing moths are shot down by earth bullets, a jumbo frog is skewered, and two goblins are ripped apart.
Nice.
I’m getting a good solid feeling in my hands, so fighting is fun.
…That’s dangerous, let’s rein it back.
I try to cool off these warlike feelings, and move on.
After a few more fights, I’m faced with a big door.
There’s a boss here on the tenth floor.
Also, after the boss, there’s a portal where I can jump from the first floor to the eleventh floor, and start there from then on.
It took me until ten o’clock to get here, so think of the time I can save. I need to register in that portal right away.
I don’t hesitate, and enter the boss room.
Here I see three fully equipped goblins, and one that’s holding a staff like it uses magic.
I see the door that leads to the portal behind them, and a treasure chest next to it.
◇ ◇ ◇
Hm.
I open the treasure chest after the fight, and see a small wooden staff, an item that’s clearly geared for a mage.
I also saw a glass ball next to the goblin mage, and it disappeared when I tried to pick it up.
Eh? How was the fight?
Honestly, easy. The adult goblin I fought on the ninth floor was way stronger.
Is their spawn order wrong or something?
The fully equipped goblins couldn’t stop my greatsword, and I cut them in two.
The mage shot a fireball, but it was so slow that I had no trouble dodging it.
I fired an earth ball back, and it pierced the monster without resistance.
I didn’t think it would be so simple, so I braced for more monsters, but nothing happened.
I leave the boss room and register at the portal, and once it’s active, I leave the dungeon.
