Enki has been killing boars by kicking them, but I’ve been watching because I think it’s strange that it’s been kicking lumps with that much mass. Whenever a boar is kicked, it turns to smoke the moment Enki makes contact. By watching more closely I can see Enki digs into the ground with a spike on its other foot, and changes the foot it’s kicking with into something sharp.
So basically, it’s more like it’s stabbing them to death. And when the boars turn to smoke and it puts its foot down, it returns to its normal form. It looked over the top, but it’s actually pretty subtle and skillful. Well done, Enki…

We keep on going while taking out boars, and hit a hundred in less than twenty minutes.
After carefully following the smoke, we reach a square mud pit with a two meter tall boar in the center.

I come out from behind a tree on my own, and jump in front of the Dread Boar. And like the regular boars, it comes charging at me.

It acts like your average boar, but its charge has a lot more force behind it.
This momentum and weight… It reminds me of when we were traveling and Aira suggested I’d get hit by a two ton truck. Aira says a lot of weird things, but I’d never wondered what was going through her head as much as that time. Maki immediately put a stop to that, and complained about me being reckless too, but…
Surprisingly, with my Constitution and Physical Strength now in the four digits, I could stand my ground even as I caught a truck running at me. What surprised me the most was that it felt weaker than a punch from a Giant Rock Golem.

I feel like its push suddenly becomes a lot stronger, but it doesn’t make much difference now that we’re pushing each other. It’d be different if it ran at me with that power from the start.
I use its strength to fling it, and stab it in its unprotected neck. But its size means one sword doesn’t do much against its meaty body, and it’s not fatal.

And so, I roast it from the inside by making the sword stabbed into it burn. It works incredibly well, and the roasted Dread Boar soon turns into smoke.

With that, the Grand Boar charges ahead.
But my body moves before I even hear her. It’s like I dodge before my head even understands it.
I jump, and feel the Grand Boar pass below me, almost as if it’s happening to someone else.
The Grand Boar breaks trees as it goes, and stops after the fourth one. These trees are a lot thicker than the ones on the second floor. Those were about fifty centimeters in diameter, but this is a sea of over three meter trees.
How powerful is it to mow them down easily…!?
“Master! Its Weapon Break and Armor Break skills are exactly what they sound like. If you block it, there is a chance your swords and armor will break.”
“…Got it. Iris, help me out!”
