What changed about Appraisal?
I don’t really see anything different in my stats. Do I have to meet some sort of condition? Or does it give information not on myself but on other people or monsters…

I can practically see her wagging her tail.
“…Hum, can I see your stats?”

The Command skill really does round up. Magic Power and Intelligence went up by a nice margin.

There’s no need to hide my rapid growth anymore.
So that’s what I can see now? Age? That’s a real disappointment for level six.
“Of course, that’s my darling.”
She says with a shining smile full of appreciation, and I suddenly feel the impulse to pat her head.
But it might hurt like this, so I take the gauntlet off first.
“Fuah. D-darling?”
She looks embarrassed, but I keep doing it.
I don’t feel bad about being chased by a cute girl like this either. At first I felt bad about Aki and Maki, but they’ve already given up on pushing her away. And if anything, they’ve accepted her because she will make things safer for me.

I pat her head again, and she squints.
“All right, break’s over. Let’s keep hunting.”

“Let’s hunt two or three hundred more goblins today. Then, if we have time, let’s go through the whole second floor before we leave.”

Then we stay in the same place and take out the fifth one of the day. Fourth Hobgoblin if we’re counting after the interruption, but there’s no General Goblin.
This is to check if I need to take out one in every single place.
The problem is the sixth, fifth after the interruption. The rare monster that spawns in the bottom right corner.
A Hobgoblin spawns, followed by a General Goblin.

The fact that a powered up one isn’t spawning tells me two things. First, the interruption had an effect. Second, I need to take them out in each position.
A powered up one won’t spawn if it isn’t all done in a row. If it still won’t appear… That means either there’s a condition I don’t know about, spawning points I haven’t found, or maybe it’s because I took down one too many.
Anyway, I bring my Super Strength up to Super Strength III.
Next, Command.
“Aira, use this Command.”
“Thank you master.”
“It’s fine, I get stronger too.”
“I will thank you with my body.”
My eyes are drawn to her voluptuous body, but my reasoning power is fully mobilized to drive those dirty thoughts away.
“…Ahh. Can you not talk like Ayane too?”
“I meant it as in working to repay you, but… If you so desire…”
“I said it’s fine!”
I look at the other drops to get my mind off this.
The magic iron dropped this time is… Not gloves, these are heavy gauntlets. I equip them, and give the ones I was wearing to Aira. Am I going to get greaves next?
I can feel the effect of Command too, and I sit on the ground to press the ten spins button.

I don’t know, but it sounds cool.

“Yes. They are special abilities that are said to appear in front of people who have use a specific weapon. I have learned four dagger techniques.”
“How do they appear?”
“In treasure chests, or they appear in front of adventurers who take down special monsters. Only the people who do so can see these Combat Arts skill orbs, so they can only be obtained in dungeons.”
“I see…”
Are there things like qualifications to be able to use them?
I guess mine are Swordsmanship, Martial Arts… And Elemental Magic?
