I hear it’s nice to have, but it’s not recommended to keep increasing it.

First of all, Luck only grows through SP.
Even weapons called artifacts found in treasure chests and super rare items that increase stats don’t increase Luck. At least none have been found that have that effect.
It’s said that the more Luck you have, the better the drop rates of items become, and the encounter rates of rare monsters become higher, but that one is dubious.

That’s not how it works.
SP is really precious, and a bonus for you to improve your lowest stats. That’s all good when you’re using them on basic stats, but apparently when you keep pouring it into Luck, the stat increases you get with level ups start getting smaller.
And if you keep pumping it into Luck, the stat increases are going to become either zero or one, and you’re going to get only two SP with a level up.

Right. There are rumors that it goes back to normal if you start putting SP into normal stats, but… You know it’s harder to level up the higher your level is. It would take time to get back into it. Not to mention that it’d be hard to keep up with others when your stats are so weak.
And if you turn to Luck again to try to change this situation, the SP goes down again.
That’s why it’s best not to mess with Luck. There are other reasons, but not getting stronger is a motivation killer.
