Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 142 – Rabbit hunting again

The Killing Rabbit is holding a sword in each hand like a human. But it still has a forward-bent posture, making it look like a beast.

If it has the same traits as Murder Rabbits…

As I think that, it approaches quickly and attacks. It’s much faster than a Murder Rabbit, so it really makes me feel how much my Luck works for me.

After all, if this thing spawned back then, it would’ve killed me for sure. I wouldn’t have been able to deal with this speed.

‘Gin, gagin!’

But it’s different now. Its initial velocity is far behind Aira, and it swings its weapons much slower than a Shell Knight. This has nothing on me, and to make things even simpler, it’s easy to tell where its weak points are, because it’s humanoid.

…Well, if you can’t keep up with this speed, having to target weak points precisely is nothing but scary.

Also, we can’t just kill it immediately, because we need to get some footage. Hum, if we’re going to keep filming rare monsters, we might not have the leeway to care about the length of the footage, if it’s an enemy that gives me or Aira trouble…

I guess if an opponent gives us trouble, that’s enough to show it’s dangerous.

“Hmph!”

‘Kikiki!’

Dual-Wielding is good against an opponent using Dual-Wielding.

Normally, it would be good to have one person guard with a shield, while the others support them, but… Let’s let others do that.

After clashing swords a few times, I’m used to its movements.

“I think it’s time.”

“Yes! Big Fireball!”

Ayane activates magic, catching the Killing Rabbit by surprise, and Aira erases her presence to cut the tendons on its legs.

Its fur is pretty tough, but soft compared to a monster covered in armor like a Shell Knight.

It didn’t dodge the magic, so it’s on fire as I swing at it.

My sword cuts its neck, and its head goes flying. A lot of smoke comes out of the cut, and it dissipates immediately.

【Level up】

【Leveled up from forty-three to forty-nine】

“Well, that’s about it.”

But still, once I get into this bog of level ups, gacha seems far away.

Up until now, I could time it well and take down a strong enemy when I was at a low level, so I was never this stuck… Twelve more levels to sixty-one?

How many do I need to take down?

“Good job, master.”

“I think I got some good footage!”

“I see. Then how about we speedrun the rest of the rare monsters?”

Then we take out the rare monsters in their special fields one at a time.

With my Luck, I think there’s an eighty percent chance a Killing Rabbit spawns, so it only fails to spawn once in those four times.

The other two get my level up to fifty-four.

Also, I use one Assassination Lv1, and three Swift II, meaning I now have Assassination Lv6 and Swift III.

Aira uses Fast Run II, Swift, and three Dual-Wielding, meaning she now has Fast Run III, Swift II, and Dual-Wielding II.

Her Dual-Wielding is now II like mine, and after checking it a bit, she feels satisfied with how her weapons handle… Hn? Come to think of it, where does she always take them from?

Even now, I can’t see where they’re going…

“Master, this skill is world changing.”

“That’s nice… Ayane, do you want any skills? You haven’t taken anything since we got here.”

“Geez darling. Skills are not something to learn at such a rapid pace. They are supposed to be more precious, things you get every few weeks or months if you’re lucky, and take your time getting used to. And yet, I keep getting them.”

“Ah, I guess that’s how it is normally.”

How long has it been since I got Level Gacha and started learning skills… Thirteen days?

Getting so many skills in such a short amount of time has really thrown me off, or I guess made me numb.

“Well, leaving that aside, we have our rules, and others have theirs. So don’t worry about it, and tell me if you want anything. You’re all more important than what I would get from selling skills.”

“Ah, darling…!”

“Ahem.”

Ayane’s face turns red, and Aira clears her throat before carrying on like nothing happened.

“Master, we should carry on with the hunt. We have a hundred more to take down before a powered up one appears, and we can rest after…”

“Lately I’ve been thinking that the way you stick to your serious face to hide embarrassment is cute, Aira.”

“Wha!?”

“Oh darling, you found something that’s been amusing me too. Let me in on it.”

“Of course.”

“Lady!?”

Aira’s poker face crumbles, and Ayane and I keep attacking.

“When Aira is actually happy, the corners of her eyes drop a degree or two.”

“Good job noticing that, darling. It took me months to notice it.”

“Maybe it’s Intuition?”

“No darling, it’s love!”

“Love? Well, that would explain it.”

I peek at Aira, and she looks away. She doesn’t want us looking at her face.

Should we keep attacking when she’s showing us such a rare reaction? Ayane is fidgeting while looking up at me.

“S-so darling, is there anything to me too?”

“Hn? Ah… You feel like hugging me, but you’re holding back?”

“C-correct! How did you know?”

Well, because you always do.

But I don’t say that, and just pat her head instead.

“You’re holding back because we’re going to hunt monsters again, right? You can come to me when we’re done.”

“Hehehe, yes!”

“Let’s go hunt a hundred more then. This is a good place to make it spawn.”

The second trophy is practically in front of me.
