Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 155 – Home run

“Aira, look after Ayane!”

I run up the rocky mountain without waiting for a response, towards my target.

Being attacked by that giant body would be no joke. I need to make sure it targets me!

“Crimson…!”

The moment I’m about to activate a skill, my vision is covered in rock.

“Eh?”

The sudden change confuses me, but everything covering my vision is definitely ‘death’.

Move, body, this is an attack!

“Guh!?”

I immediately cross my blades, but I can’t hold on, and I’m thrown into the air.

“Darling!?”

My vision spins, and as I see that giant body getting further away, I get it. That lump of rock that hit me was the Giant Stone Golem’s arm. Its whole body is made up of sturdy rock, but how does something that big move so fast?

I need to get back up and observe, so I regain my balance in the air and use magic.

“Air Walk!!”

I create a vertical footing behind me, and crashing into it kills the momentum. Right after, I create another one below me to stop me from falling. The impact cracked the Air Walk behind me, but it didn’t break.

As long as the panels don’t break, I don’t have to worry about falling.

I can’t use this to keep moving up, but this magic is useful to stop me from crashing down. Good thing I did some image training about when to use it.

When Aira told me to imagine a scenario when I’d be falling from the sky, I questioned what she was on about, but I guess I was too naive. It’s one thing to fail using Air Walk and fall, but a regular guy wouldn’t imagine being blown into the air by a monster…

“Are you all right, darling!?”

After taking a second to breathe, I hear Ayane yelling.

I look down, and see she’s about thirty meters away, being carried by Aira, who is running around on unstable footing. The giant is after them, along with a bunch of golems that respawned around them. Now that I’m facing down, I really see that I underestimated my enemy. I thought four hundred Agility wasn’t a big deal at this point, but I was dead wrong.

Firstly, every single step is huge. That means the way it closes the distance is on a whole other level compared to a regular person. Not only that, but its movements are powerful on top of being light, so those rock arms are a big threat.

Also, being chased by slower monsters is tricky too. If you go around while being careful about the fastest monster, you might end up right in front of the others, or they might catch you from a blind spot. Aira knows Adamantine Armor III, so I don’t think something terrible will happen, but I need to do something quickly.

“Yes, I’m okay!”

Crack.

Right after I say that, I hear an unpleasant sound. When I turn to look, I see my beloved subweapon Ghost is cracked.

“It was when…”

I can’t think about filming at a time like this. I’ll give up on fighting up close, and finish it from here!

“You two, I’m counterattacking! Kite them while attacking!”

“Yes!”

“Leave it to me!”

I hold my Kaiser Vein and draw it. The most dangerous thing here is the rare monster, so I want to start with that, but unfortunately, its back is turned to me. I can’t see the core from here, so I have to target something else.

First, I’ll snipe the other ones.

Whoosh, whoosh!

The distance plus the difference in altitude makes it harder to aim. I’ve been hitting every golem right on the mark, but I miss a few times here.

Well, I don’t need to worry about my stock of arrows, so it’s not much of an issue, but… I do like taking them down in one clean hit.

“Then… Magic Missile.”

It’s time to use it.

This magic isn’t affected by wind, and moves how I want. It costs as much as thirty arrows, but it’s easier because it reliably hits an opponent.

My magic keeps turning golems into sand, until it’s only the Giant Stone Golem that’s chasing Aira.

Now I have some leeway, so I can observe it again.

The Vision Strengthening skill lets me observe it closely, and it looks like the joints are the secret to its nimble moves. There’s minute sand on the joins of the shoulders and legs, and they act as cushioning that lets them slide better. Is that done using the Sand Control skill?

It also uses sand to repair whatever Ayane and Aira’s attacks shave off. I think it would use that until it ran out of magic energy.

It also uses its nimble movements and big arms to defend against attacks near the core. It really is a troublesome monster.

As I think that, I can now see the core well. Apparently Aira is adjusting its position while running.

It dodges and guards, so I need to blow it away with a super fast attack that blows away even its arm!

“Master, please finish it!”

“Yes! Great Strength III, Super Strength IV, Adamantine Strength II, Purple Lightning Arrow, Power Charge.”

Crack crack crack!

“Uwah.”

There’s electricity on the Purple Lightning Arrow. This hasn’t happened before, so I’m assuming it’s because my stats are higher, and I used all those skills.

“True Appraisal.”

Name: Thunderclap Arrow

Grade: Unique

Classification: Combat skill (Bow)

Description: The evolved form of the combat skill Purple Lightning Arrow, after being taken to its limit. Spends five hundred magic energy with each use. Pierces up to five targets. Deals shock, piercing, lightning, and fire damage.

“Evolved… I like it! Go through it, Thunderclap Arrow!!”

Swoosh!

It flies like it’s ripping through the sky, and a big hole is opened right in the middle of the monster’s body. The Giant Stone Golem pitches forward, and turns into smoke after its fall causes a tremor.

【Level up】

【Leveled up from fifty-five to ninety-two】

“Uhe, I really had to work for that one!”

I fall back, and hear a happy voice below.

“Darling! I leveled up a lot!!”

“Me too!”

“Master, can you come down?”

Asks Aira while collecting the items.

I look down again, and see I’m pretty high up. About seven, maybe eight floors…?

Just how hard did it hit me?

Let’s think about that later. Now…

“What should I do… Create Air Walk panels and go down like that…?”

“Darling! You will be fine if you jump down with Adamantine Armor!”

“There’s that too!”

Thanks to Ayane’s quick thinking, I jump down safely.

But it’s a bit scary, so I keep my eyes closed.

“I can’t use Air Walk to move higher up in the air.”
“Having the high ground makes it harder to aim with a bow.”
“My lightning arrow technique has never had electricity before.”
