Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 162 – Taking it easy relaxing

“Hn…”

I’m slowly brought back from dreamland.

The faint feeling of being asleep gradually fades, and I notice that I can’t move my arms and body.

When I open my eyes, I see Maki in my left arm, Ayane cuddled up in my right, and Aki close to me.

As I look at everyone’s sleeping faces, I try to remember what happened yesterday, but no matter how hard I try, I can’t remember us all sleeping cuddled up like this. Wait, was my bed always this big?

I look around, and see both the weapon rack where Ghost is, and the planter with the merman seed. I think it’s my room, but… It’s really strange, because the bed is too big.

I enjoy the feeling in my arms, but then I notice someone is missing. I try to probe for her presence, and then Aira walks in, wearing her usual maid outfit.

“Good morning master.”

“…Morning. Can I get an explanation?”

“Yes. You were supposed to cuddle with Miss Maki the previous night, but unforeseen circumstances led you to fall asleep first.”

“Yes.”

“And this is the result.”

“Didn’t you miss a couple of steps?”

I mean, I think I get the picture, but… Well, that’s just Aira.

“I’m glad you understand.”

“Ahh… Just to check, this is my room, right?”

“Yes. I was right in buying a king size bed just in case this happened.”

This maid is too good. She has every possibility accounted for. Does she have a future sight skill?

As we talk, the others start waking up, and while still sleepy, they tell me they decided to skip the previous night in their rotation. But waking up surrounded by them doesn’t feel bad at all.

“How about we do this at the end of a rotation?”

“Could work… Don’t read me that much.”

“Breakfast is ready. Please wash your faces and eat.”

Aira can read my heart, but she pretends she can’t hear me grumble as she quickly leaves the room. I guess I’ll go wash my face…

◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

“So, about yesterday’s meeting.”

“Even branch managers have a limit..”

“The auction was great!”

I take it easy eating while listening. I’m going to Unlucky Hall for the first time in a while, but it’s not worth getting fired up over it at this point. I’m planning to take it easy until noon.

Well, I could stay there all day, but yesterday… I got so tired I fell asleep. I don’t want to worry them, so I’ll take it easy. And since Aki and Maki want me to stay here until noon, I’ll oblige.

Spending some time like this once in a while isn’t bad.

“So basically, in a few hours, it was decided that two branches will show the videos, part of the stock was sold, and the adamantine series was sold in auction.”

“Yes. Pretty much.”

“But there are economic issues to consider, and if we constantly get skills, either their value will drastically go down, or we sell them in the national auction.”

“National?”

There are a thousand dungeons in this world, with approximately twenty in this country. Apparently that’s pretty up there when it comes to countries with dungeons, and even more so if we look at it from a ratio of amount of dungeons to landmass.

It’s not a good distinction for the people living here, but I’m thankful for having plenty of dungeons to explore.

There are four areas in this country with a high density of dungeons, managed separately.

There’s the Kanto area, known as the first district, with various genres of dungeon like the beginner dungeon, mid rank dungeon, high rank dungeon, Heart Dungeon, and Unlucky Hall.

Then there’s the second district in Kansai, the third in Hokkaido, and the fourth in Kyushu,

There are auctions held in each one, and there is a four day gap between each one held here because there are auctions in the other districts. The national auction is for things that couldn’t find a successful bidder in their respective auctions, or things that just carry a tremendous price. Foreigners are also allowed to join.

That said, since the first district has a high rank dungeon and the capital, it generally carries higher prices compared to the others, and things don’t usually make their way from this auction to the national.

“Well, there was a lot.”

“I know you’re bursting at the seams with them, but you need to control yourself. Well, you’re taking a break until the next one, so I think it’s okay…”

Says Aki, and Maki looks concerned too.

Well, I don’t know where we’re going on vacation, but I wouldn’t leave them and go to a dungeon… I wouldn’t. Really.

“““Stare.”””

Apparently I’m not the only one thinking about that, as three girls look at me with dubious expressions.

Ayane is the only one who isn’t thinking about it.

“What’s wrong with you all?”

“You’re such a nice girl, Ayane.”

“Eh? Hehehe, am I?”

Anyway, I hug and pamper the girl not doubting me.

She doesn’t know why she’s being praised, but looks happy just the same.

“Muu…”

“Don’t just focus on Ayane.”

“Haha, I’m kidding. I wouldn’t just go without asking. I don’t even know where we’re going.”

“Look forward to finding out.”

We take it easy a while longer, and then the doorbell rings.

“Hn?”

“Ah, it’s here!”

“Shouta, there’s a package for you!”

“You just received something good!”

For me? What is it?
