Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 180 – Sorting information

We go home, and gather in the living room to sort out the information we got.

Aki and Maki write it one by one on a whiteboard, and it’s thanks to them managing this that I can sort it too.

“That’s about it. First, Sakuya has given her children independent units that are mostly active in the mid rank dungeon or the neighboring Mechanical Dungeon. The point is to see if they have what it takes to be leaders. And to attain the rights to access dungeon cores and become core holders.”

“Sakuya said there are some core holders in other countries, but it’s unknown if there are any here. I don’t know why she wants core holders, but at the very least, I don’t want to assume it’s for something bad.”

“My mother knew darling had multiple trophies. I think that is part of why she accepts our engagement.”

“She has given master permission to enter the forbidden areas of the mid rank dungeon and Mechanical Dungeon. I think this is also a test, as if she is daring you to surpass the other three.”

“Also, my brothers and sisters, and most of the people in their units, haven’t seen your videos. Maybe their pride got in the way, or maybe they think they have nothing to gain from them… It’s kind of stupid.”

“As opposed to the ones in political and business areas, and Blazing Sword and Azure Mist. They watched them and gave them a fair judgment. I think they’re gonna be friendlier to us the more information we put out.”

“So Shouta, what are our plans going forward?”

“…Yes…”

I’ve conquered one dungeon. Dungeon Nº777, Unlucky Hall.

I’m in the middle of conquering two more, Nº525 beginner dungeon, and Nº810 Heart Dungeon.

I have one that’s on hold, Nº128 high rank dungeon.

There are five I haven’t visited, the mid rank dungeon, Mechanical Dungeon, Mountain Dungeon, Gale Dungeon, and Four Seasons Dungeon.

I couldn’t meet the head of the association in this party, but I greeted the branch managers of nearby dungeons, and got their promise to support me. That means I can start from any of them, but… I don’t want to leave things unfinished.

“Let’s go to the beginner dungeon first. We can check what Shuu said, and in the afternoon, go after the trophy from beating a powered up golem. We can think about what to do next after that.”

““““Understood!””””

“Do you have anything else in mind? If not, I was thinking about calling Level Gacha and checking it with you…”

Everyone thinks about it, and Aki remembers something after checking her notepad.

“…Ah! Shouta!”

“Hn?”

“You didn’t tell me during the slime fight.”

“Eh? Tell what…?”

“Look, hum…”

Aki tries hard to remember what I said, but I guess she didn’t write it down.

…And she can’t remember?

“I said I wanted to avoid leaving a fight to roll the gacha, right?”

“Yes, that’s it!”

“That…”

That’s true, I always did it after fights when no enemies were around, or in the safety of my home. There was always something holding me back from doing it in battle.

“So what are you so wary of, Shouta?”

“Hm, it’s this vague feeling, but the Level Gacha cabinet can’t be seen or touched by people that don’t know about it, right?”

“Yes.”

“That’s right.”

“I have a few theories about why. Like it just being a highly secretive skill, or just because it’s the special Phantasm rank. But what I’ve been most wary of is that it might be because it’s easy to break.”

Everyone goes quiet, and nods as if agreeing.

“I see. It would be terrible if there was an accident.”

“If the cabinet breaks and you can’t use Level Gacha… That’s scary.”

“It’s dangerous to assume something won’t break just because it comes from a skill. And your dream would become more distant if it did, darling.”

“You are right, if we want to be safe, you should refrain from doing that. I will be more cautious about the possibility of the gacha breaking in the dungeon going forward.”

“Thank you.”

“Leave it to me.”

“Speaking of gacha, how about we check out the upgrades?”

I call the cabinet, that’s now a lively green color, and see what’s written on the sticker.

‘Version up! The effects of power up items have increased!’

‘Version up! The level cost has gone from six to eight!’

‘Version up! Since the user has only used the ten spins button, the maximum capacity has increased!’

‘Version up! The user now has enough Luck to unlock SUR.’

‘Version up! Free gacha has been upgraded!’

‘Administrator rights detected. Certain special skills have been unlocked.’

‘140/140 remaining’

“The level cost increased as much as I expected. And I have a new rarity tier… Let’s spin it twice.”

“SUR… Super ultra rare? That’s not a designation you often see.”

“Is that right?”

I say while pressing the button twice.
