Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 185 – Moving habitat (physically)

General Goblins.

Their traits stay the same regardless of whether they’re encountered as regular monsters or rare II. They always target the weakest human near them, like a frail girl. Ayane is weaker than me, even though she’s higher level, but it should’ve noticed before it followed its instincts. Ayane was far stronger than it was.

“Then again, it’s just a monster.”

“Darling, I beat it back.”

“There there, good.”

“Ehehe.”

I pat Ayane’s head, and after the General Goblin’s smoke vanishes, the drops from the Hobgoblin and General Goblin appear.

“So when it moves, it also drops the stuff from the previous rare monster.”

“Yes darling. We can also tell that when a rare II appears, items don’t drop when the body of the first rare monster disappears.”

“Ah, Are you talking about when team members who don’t have enough Luck or others are watching? But we can’t make that assumption, because we don’t know for sure what items will drop.”

“Au, that’s true.”

“…Ah. Aira isn’t here. What do we do about these drops?”

Ever since Aira joined me, I haven’t had to carry a backpack, meaning I have nothing to carry items.

I have two magic stones, three skill orbs, one greatsword, and one piece of armor in front of me.

“Darling, my pouch can carry the magic stones and skill orbs.”

“Thanks. Then I’ll take the equipment.”

“U-uwah!?”

“W-what’s that!?”

I hear screaming behind me.

I’m pretty sure the people who were here, that turned into spectators, were fired up watching me fight, but…

“Oh, there’s Aira.”

Ayane points to Aira as she runs over here. And she’s holding something strange.

“You’re kidding…”

I open the map like I’m trying to evade reality, and see the white dot that represents Aira, with a big red mark on top, and many red dots chasing it. No doubt about it, she grabbed the Boss Wolf by the neck, and she’s dragging it here with its underlings!

She goes around the spectators, and slams the Boss Wolf to the ground after reaching us.

‘Gyan! Huff… Huff…’

The monster is pretty much done already, after being roughly dragged all this way. But since she went out of her way to bring it, let’s start with the weaker ones.

“Aira, keep it there.”

“Understood.”

I take out Kaiser Vein, and rapid fire towards the hill wolves. The arrows are made up of magic energy and don’t have a physical form, so I don’t have to take them out of a quiver, which simplifies the process. And there’s also the fact that I have Physical Super Strengthening, Archery, and Martial Arts.

There are only thirty of them, and they all fall easily to my technique that’s better than before.

‘Grrrr…’

The Boss Wolf groans, as it’s forced to lay down while I take out the underlings it summoned. I feel like I’m the bad guy here. I guess from an objective point of view, I might be.

“Sorry.”

I hit the Boss Wolf with an arrow at close range, and it turns into smoke.

“So Aira, how did this happen?”

“The attacks from the hill wolves the Boss Wolf spawned and the ones that respawned were too much for them to handle. They wanted help, so I took them in return for a reward.”

“Did they watch the video?”

“Yes, but it seems you took it down so quickly, that you made it look easy.”

“They got cocky… Did they go back?”

“No, I assume they are resting nearby.”

Hm, and what’s going to happen with this smoke…

“Let’s give instructions to Ayane and Aira.”

◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

Sure enough, the smoke moves to the nearest hilly area.

Maybe it’s because rare II spawn immediately after the smoke swells, but the smoke is moving faster than ever. It’s so fast that I can’t catch up even with my skills, but since we already knew it would move, Ayane and Aira went ahead. If nothing spawns, at least they can pick up the drops.

When I get there, I see we have spectators again, and Aira’s short sword is already going up against the Werewolf’s claws.

“Sorry for being late.”

The speed I built up turns to force as I cut its back. Maybe it’s the force, maybe the stats, maybe the sword, but the Werewolf goes down in one hit despite me not using any Physical Strength skills.

【Level up】

【Leveled up from forty-five to seventy-one】

“…O-ooooh!!”

The audience can’t process what happened right away, but cheers after seeing me. Well, it’s not too bad, since they’re not bothering.

And I thank Aira after she picks up the drops incredibly fast.

“Good job. Did you talk to our spectators?”

“They are regretful. We should also talk to the ladies later to make sure the association uses it as a bad example. And now we also have confirmation that they spawn in their original position no matter how far they are.”

“That could cause incidents where smoke suddenly appears and turns into a rare II. It’s probably best if people don’t hang around spots where rare monsters spawn for too long.”

Says Ayane.

“…There’s another thing I want to check. Let’s say this hilly area is area A, and the other three are B, C, and D. If a Boss Wolf from area A is taken close to area B, would it spawn in area A or B?”

“I see… That is a good question.”

“Does that make a difference, darling?”

“Yes. It’s fine if it spawns in area B, but if it’s area A, that means the spot where it spawns can be controlled perfectly. If someone keeps a rare I spawned at A for a long time, it’s possible that no more will spawn in area A even if they meet the conditions.”

“I see.”

It’s a pain.

“Also… I want to test if I can spawn a second rare I by hunting a hundred normal monsters after the first one has been spawned.”

“I see I see.”

“Awawa… My head hurts.”

“Haha. Let’s start by checking the whole A B thing with a Boss Wolf.”

““Yes.””

And so, we move to a hilly area with no spectators to begin our investigation.
