“Well then, we’ll make sure the adventurers that were careless get a stern warning.”
“I will edit this video and make sure it’s clear in the database that rare II can move somewhere else, and the dangers that come with it.”
“Thanks.”
I hug both girls, and head to the second floor of the beginner dungeon. My destination is the area with golems.
When we reach the border between the sandy area and a plain, we stretch and check our equipment, and I see Ayane smiling.
“Darling, running like that is really fun!”
“That’s good. Aira, can you do what we planned before?”
“Leave it to me.”
Says Aira as she jumps into the golems’ area. Normally people would sink into the sand, but Aira moves from one spot to another before that can happen.
‘Gogogogo.’
‘Ooon.’
Many golems wake up after hearing her footsteps and reach towards her, but she keeps running.
It was annoying waking them up one at a time and taking them down, so we devised this plan. The ‘plan to make things easier by waking them all up’.
I came up with it, Aira is executing it, and Ayane is supporting it, but Aira really is the linchpin.
Well, we wouldn’t have to do this if we were ignoring the golem cores, but it’s a waste not to collect something so useful.
“I’m back, master.”
Says Aira, looking not at all tired. I can see an army of golems walking behind her. The other problem with this plan is that it might affect other adventurers if there are any around.
These things don’t have eyes, but they’re all coming this way… I guess the same goes for River and the others at home.
“I think there are a hundred.”
“Good job. I’ll take them out one at a time.”
Like last time, a shooting game begins, but at this point, I can’t miss them.
As Aira said, there are just barely a hundred, so smoke wells up when I’m done, and moves to the spawn point.
“Aira, I’m going to make a golem here, so can you bring the Stone Golem?”
“Leave it to me.”
I see Aira climb a rocky area, and Ayane hands me a golem core IV.
“I think this one can hold sixteen hundred magic energy.”
“What about the attribute?”
“There’s sand everywhere, so sand.”
“I can’t wait to see how big it gets!”
“It was from that giant golem so… Sand Control.”
I control a lot of sand, and it forms a golem. The face and outline, and overall shape are all chibi and cute like River and the others. It went smoothly because Ayane made sure I learned how to do it.
Then I fill the golem core IV with magic energy, and use Sand Control again to cover it with sand. Slowly, the golem starts to take in more sand independently of me, until it turns into a three meter tall giant.
‘Goh!’
I face the new golem. Also, apparently the chibi eyes can actually work as eyes if made with that in mind.
“Oh. Can you talk?”
‘Goh!’
“Cute!”
I’m relieved to see the golem giving a thumbs up like those others. Hm, this is a normal golem, just huge. It looks cute, but I want to make it different from the others…
“Darling, are you going to name it?”
“Name…”
It’s a sand golem, and since I’m going to make use of it, I want a name that sounds strong. King of Earth… Earth God…
“Enki. Your name is Enki.”
‘Gogo!!’
“Enki! Nice to meet you!”
“Enki, learn Automatic Recovery IV. You won’t be beaten so easily if you have it.”
‘Goh!!’
“Master, here it is.”
I hand Enki the skill, and Aira comes back with the Stone Golem.
Hm, I see. While we’re at it…
“Enki, can you do it?”
‘Goh!’
Enki turns around and faces the Stone Golem. It’s a clash between two three meter tall giants.
The differences are Enki’s IV core, the material that it’s composed of, and that its only skill is Automatic Recovery IV.
The Stone Golem has a II core, is made of stone, and has the skills Iron Wall, Rampart, and Sand Control Lv1.
Let’s see who’s stronger…
‘Gogo…’
‘…’
They glare at each other and take position, as we casually sit down.
“They’re not that big, but it’s like a clash between kaiju.”
“Yes.”
If only we had cola and popcorn.
“I apologize for being underprepared, master.”
“No, even if you did bring them, they’d be covered in sand.”
“Which one will win, darling?”
“Hn, I wonder. Both have advantages and drawbacks, and I can’t see Enki’s stats.”
Which will come out on top? Well, I’ll step in if it’s looking bad.
Much like how the girls look after River and the others, Enki is under my care. I need to take good care of it.
“That’s not right. We need to cheer Enki on! I’m sure it will feel more motivated if you do!”
“Really?”
“Darling, do you feel nothing when I cheer you?”
“No, it does get me going… Ah, I see. Go get it Enki!!”
‘Goh!!’
Enki raises its fist as if responding to me, and the stone Golem raises an arm in a defensive stance.
Bam!
The materials are different, but I think the difference in the core output and having Automatic Recovery IV means Enki is sturdier than it looks. One attack easily breaks that stone arm.
“Ooh!”
“Awesome!”
‘Gogogo!!’
It looks like Enki likes our reactions, as it rushes the Stone Golem. It tries to repair its arm, but Enki is too fast. It sends the other arm and the head flying, and finishes it off with a thrust that breaks the core.
Crack crack… Crash!
With the core broken, the Stone Golem falls, and releases smoke from its body. It was anticlimactic, but it seems Enki here is stronger than I thought.
