“Let’s keep going. There are people in the next spot, so let’s take our time. Enki, don’t attack even if you’re attacked.”
‘Goh!’
Ayane and Aira get on its hands, and activate Adamantine Armor III in front of its core just in case.
I’m holding the reins on top of Enki’s head. I should be visible here, but… Should I raise a white flag?
“Ah, I know. Aira, do you have a megaphone?”
“I do.”
Why do you carry that around? Well, it’s Aira. Besides, she’d sulk later if I didn’t ask, and I asked assuming she did have it.
“Well then, let’s talk to adventurers as we go.”
“Yes, here.”
“…A white flag too. Ah, testing testing.”
I attach the white flag on Enki’s neck, and use the megaphone. Now it looks like we won’t have a problem, so we keep going.
As I expected, adventurers are surprised to see Enki, but since we’re calling out to them as we move, it doesn’t lead to chaos or anything. The boards on the other hand will be pretty chaotic, but that’s something to enjoy later.
A few teams turn into spectators who follow us, probably curious about what we’re up to, and we reach the third area.
Are they going to get in our way…?
“Worry not, master, they are here to learn. Even if it hinders results today, it will be worth it in the long run, so there is no need for you to worry.”
“I see.”
“Darling, can I bait the golems too?”
“While running?”
“No, I’m not as fast as Aira, but I can throw rocks and use magic…”
“Lady, you have five hundred Agility, so that would not be a problem. But do not push yourself. Limit yourself to three to five at the start.”
“I’ll try!”
I pat Ayane’s head as she gets fired up. With Ayane and Aira acting as bait, Enki and I start taking down the golems.
I used only the bow before, so now I only grapple and use my swords to destroy cores. And Enki just flattens them with punches.
The audience gets excited watching the super giant golem fight a bunch of golems… I guess this is fun for them, but are they getting anything valuable out of this?
The hundred golem hunt goes smoothly, and I use the techniques I learned in the dojo against the Stone Golem. I dodge its attacks lightly and slip in close to it, and break the core in one hit. Fighting an opponent with an exposed weakness really is easy.
【Level up】
【Leveled up from thirteen to fifty-six】
The low level correction did work. I guess it would be more effective to not roll the gacha until a rare II comes out, but I’m scared of something breaking the cabinet.
“And the rare II… Isn’t coming.”
I watch the smoke dissipate, and get ready to move to the next area.
I give Enki Sand Control, but nothing really changes.
The fourth area of the day doesn’t produce a rare II either, and after giving Enki another Sand Control, it seems to notice something.
‘Goh!!’
It gathers sand, compresses it, and creates a rock spear.
“Can you throw that?”
‘Gogo!’
Enki throws the spear at a sandy area, and sand flies everywhere like there was an explosion. And a few golems turn to smoke and disappear.
‘Goh!’
Enki holds up its hand, and the spear returns like it has a mind of its own.
“I see, a spear made with Sand Control will come back as long as it’s within the effective range, right?”
‘Goh!’
“But it was not very far, considering Enki’s size. About thirty meters?”
“Maybe that would change if it had the Throw and Spear Techniques skills, darling.”
‘Gogogo.’
“It can be used as an improvised weapon and thrown for a long distance attack. Enki just keeps getting stronger. And more reliable.”
‘Gogo!’
But in the end, it only works where there’s sand.
We’re walking around the sandy areas of the second floor, so it can regenerate infinitely and create an endless supply of spears as long as it has magic energy. But it’s going to have to rely on Automatic Recovery IV on other floors and dungeons, and it will have to create weapons from its own sand.
What could we do about that…
“Aira.”
“That is a little harsh.”
She already knows what I’m thinking.
Could she carry sand in her bag? Maybe not…
“That much?”
“My bag has equipment you might use, and items and furniture for leisure. Also, we should save space for dropped items.
And you are right in thinking that… That slot is going to take a lot of space, so I do not have the room.”
“I see…”
Aira is always jamming things in there, so I tend to think it can fit anything, but it does have a limit.
“Enki, that move is strong, but try not to use it where sand is limited.”
‘Gogo…’
“Well, you can use it all you want here.”
‘Goh!’
Well then, we’ve gone everywhere, so will the powered up one appear next?
I’ve already spawned a rare II, so I assume so. Ah, but what about the trophy? I’m not so sure about that, so if a powered up one does appear, I’ll take it down myself.
