‘Pugii!!’
“Too slow.”
An orc rare monster, High Orc, glares with a ragged breathing. It’s trying to catch Aira, who beautifully evades it. This pattern where it keeps trying to catch her and she keeps dodging is strangely captivating. She keeps evading it like she’s dancing, and reminds me of a matador.
I can’t imagine anyone else evading a monster so beautifully.
I was a little worried about it catching her after seeing its skills, but I shouldn’t have been. Still…
“I was told there wasn’t really anything of note about a High Orc. It’s not really untrue… But can I just assume you didn’t want to say it?”
“…Yes.”
Maki whispers with her face turning red. She’s filming Aira and the monster, as is Ayane from a different angle.
Footage of Aira fighting it makes for way better reference material compared to mine.
“But it doesn’t really have an ability like an Evil Eye, so it’s fine. Or did you want to hear us talk ’bout that skill?”
Says Aki from behind me, after bringing orcs from outside the settlement.
“I’m not chastising you for it. I didn’t think that skill would be a thing either. And no, I wouldn’t want to make you say it… But is that skill for real?”
“Yes. Its drop rate is very low, so it should go for a high price. It’s very real.”
I cut down the orcs coming to attack, and they all turn into meat. Enki should be bringing more, but it looks like it will take a bit. Let’s have another look at the High Orc.

“Libido Boost…”
As I watch the glaring heavy breathing orc, I really can’t imagine it’s a serious skill. Or is the monster like that anyway?
“Would I become like that?”
“It won’t change the character or personality of the user. It just makes them more… Active…”
“It’s okay. It’s been proven it doesn’t have bad side-effects.”
Aira smiles daringly while dodging beautifully.
“Precisely. Is it not a skill you need, master?”
Of course she knew about it… And she really is having an easy time, if she can talk to us from there.
“Ah… We should cut this conversation, right?”
“Of course!”
Says Maki, flaring up at that question. Both Aki and Maki are pretty proactive when it comes to that sort of thing, but get terribly embarrassed talking about it. Not that I can imagine myself talking about it like it’s no big deal either.
Incidentally, Ayane has been quiet and looks like she’s in a daze. But she’s still filming, so it’s fine.
‘Gogo!’
And then Enki comes running with a lot of orcs behind it.
At a glance it looks like it’s running away while they hit it with their swords but… Yes, I don’t think there’s any problem at all. Their attacks do nothing against Enki’s defensive power.
There are between thirty to forty-something orcs. That combined with the others should put me over a hundred.
“Good job, Enki! You’re close enough, you can take them down now.”
‘Gogo!’
Enki responds and starts swinging its shields.
‘Gogo!’
‘Pugii!?’
‘Goh!’
‘Pigih!’
It’s like a slaughterhouse.
The first attack turns two or three into smoke. The orcs keep attacking with their swords, but they can’t even chip Enki’s rock skin. Most living beings would run away from such a disadvantageous situation, but the orcs keep attacking in a frenzy.
This is where it really shows that monsters aren’t living creatures. They truly are monsters… Even if we see them as a mechanism to deter people from invading dungeons, they drop things that are useful to us. They don’t just hand it out for free, but with enough Luck, you can get all you want.
Thinking about that makes me wonder what dungeons even are.
I watch Enki as I think about that, and it crushes the last orc. Smoke rises, and condenses.
“Good job, Enki. I’ll collect the drops.”
Says Aki.
‘Goh!’
“Aira, the second one should spawn soon. Switch with Enki.”
“Yes.”
‘Pigigih!’
‘Goh!’
The High Orc charges, and Enki falls in front of Aira to stop it head on.
In a contest of brute strength, Enki is overwhelmingly on top. Even if it’s two on one.
‘Pugi!’
‘Pugigi!’
‘Gogo!’
Enki lets go of the shield, and lifts the High Orc by the neck, along with the new one that just spawned. They’re both plump two meter tall giants but… That doesn’t matter to Enki. The pigs struggle, but Enki doesn’t budge.
“That looks awful.”
“Incredible!”
“Enki really is strong. The High Orcs are like nothing.”
“It’s like it’s bullying them…”
“Shouta, please finish them off.”
“Yes.”
I fire times three magic missiles, and send both their heads flying at the same time.
【Level up】
【Leveled up from eighteen to sixty-two】
Yes, the low level correction plus two times the experience… If two rare II spawn, I should reach eighty. I still don’t know if taking two down at the same time is the condition to spawn a rare III, or exactly what counts as at the same time. Within a second? Less? Or is it generous and gives tens of seconds?
It would be a pain to have to do it again if I failed… I’d have to do it some other time.
Thankfully, the smoke doesn’t disperse, and both seem perfectly fine.

I fire times three magic missiles -> I fire three magic missiles
Thanks for the treat.
He can amplify his missiles, you know.
Yeah, and didn’t you need to his the luck till twice? Well it is probably only once for 2 to 3. But still.
