Even six of them weren’t enough for me to level up. Then again, I’m level ninety-four, and they were low level.
At this point I don’t know if there’s a bonus for taking them down at the same time, but I want to get level energy as fast as possible, so I should do that any time I can from now on.
“Come to think of it, didn’t they turn into five slimes last time?”
“Yes. They went down to four when the whites spawned, and two when the black ones spawned. Then two rainbows merged into one.”
“I see. It’d be nice if they didn’t get reduced too much this time…”

If three spawn, taking into account the low level correction balance and numbers dropping as I go, I should get myself somewhere between four to five hundred levels. My fear is that huge rainbow dungeon boss. Will multiple ones spawn at the same time? Can multiple bosses spawn at the same time, and can the bosses that drop keys spawn again?
There was a one month period with Gadaga, so I don’t know.
And if they do spawn, they have nasty abilities.
“If three spawn minions at the same time and they split up, won’t we get overrun?”

As I think about it, Maki pulls my sleeve.
“Shouta, thirty seconds.”
“How do you… Did you time them last time!?”
“Yes. I was only watching, so I timed them just in case. The small ones spawn right away, but the huge ones take five minutes, including the rainbow one.”
“Uwah… My exclusives are too efficient.”
“Hehehe, yes.”
I reach out to pat Maki, but the smoke starts swelling.
“Oops. Sorry, but we’ll have to do that later.”

“Aki, Aira, please take position.”
Six more huge slimes are lined up and shot.
But I still don’t level up.
Maki counts five more minutes, I pat her in the meantime, and fight again.

The greens go down, and I finally level up. Then I start to hear heavy footsteps behind me.
‘Gogo~.’
“Ah, welcome back Enki. Sorry for making you do annoying work.”
‘Gogo, gogo~…’
I don’t know what to make of the air around Enki. Was it hard to say goodbye to the Rainbow Slime?
I turn back, and this time Aki and Aira are here, looking like they’re waiting to be pat. Well, I wouldn’t be rounding up the monsters as well without them, so let’s praise both at the same time.
I fail to level up after six reds, but the purple ones are level sixty, and the white ones that come next are level eighty and drop extra large magic stones. I hope I can reach level one hundred with the last two kinds.
As I think about that, Ayane pulls my sleeve.
“Darling, I have a good idea!!”
“Oh, what is it?”
She’s been quiet this whole time, so I was thinking she might be sulking because there’s no reason to pat her, but apparently she was thinking. Well, I know Ayane likes to be spoiled, so if she jumped at me, I’d pat her even if there was no reason.
“There are four left, purple, white, black, and rainbow. Let’s add the conditions the last time you leveled up, and assume it’s going to be six all the way to the black ones.”
“Yes.”
“What level do you think you will be if you take down six white ones?”
“Probably over a hundred.”
Probably, surely.
As I respond with faint hopes, six smokes well up.
“Leave this to us and keep talking. Enki, give us a hand.”

Aki, Aira, and Enki step forward and face the Huge Purple Slimes, setting the stage.
“Darling, you can get ready too.”
“Yes. Purple Lightning Arrow, Stack Attack, Power Charge.”
There’s going to be three lines, so I need three Purple Lightning Arrows.
“The black ones’ abilities are trouble, so it’s not going to be easy to control them if there are six. But if there are four, we can do it with my magic, Aki and Maki, and Enki.”
“Hm…”
I peek at Maki, and she nods strongly.
I face forward, and see the slimes are in position.
Whoosh!
The purple lights pierce the enemies, and turn them to smoke.

“Enril will take care of them in my stead. If it can create a great hurricane without Wind Magic, it should be able to do something similar.”

Enril puffs out its chest while standing on Ayane’s shoulder, like it’s telling me to trust it.
I think about it again, but this plan has no holes. Everyone’s in place. I really have to praise her thoroughly later.
