I yell to rouse myself, but it looks like everyone’s here. Aki and Maki are on multiple colored Air Walk footing, hiding Takane behind them while attacking tentacles with their combat skills and blocking them with Adamantine Armor. They have six after them.
Ayane is being supported by Yukine while attacking tentacles with magic. Sometimes it gets dark around us due to Dusk Magic, but Ayane quickly clears the darkness, so it’s not a problem for us.
They all saw the previous fight, so they should know the way to damage it is by attacking the main body, not the tentacles. It’s like they can attack with full power because it won’t take the final blow from me. Also, I think it’s trying pretty hard to block Ayane’s attacks, because it’s designating seven tentacles to her.
I’m pretty thankful that they’re taking that many tentacles away from the defense of the main body.
Aira is still moving all over the place, parrying several tentacles. She has nine tentacles after her at the most, and while it depends on where she is, there are always at least seven after her.
Enril on the other hand is too high for tentacles to reach it, so the monster is attacking it with squid ink instead.
Lastly, there’s our new friend, Seren. It stretches its tentacles with high penetrating power from the water, and shoots jets of water, not only keeping the tentacles busy, but also dealing damage to the main body.
I’ve been counting while dodging, and the Grand Kraken has a total of thirty tentacles. And since they’re busy with the others, only four to six can come after me directly.
That means it’s not that hard to cut through them and attack the main body, but since a long battle would put a strain on the girls, I want to finish it in one go.
“Full blast! Thunder Arrow! Stack Attack!!”
It immediately detects the danger of three Thunder Arrows, and brings its free tentacles up to block. Even if I break through this, I shouldn’t take too long, or it might bring the other tentacles this way.
