Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 87 – After the king is…

The smoke engulfs the King Goblin’s body, and contracts into the size of a person.

A one hundred seventy-five centimeter tall man emerges from the smoke… No, its skin is green and its eyes are glowing red. It’s just that its slender body could easily be mistaken for a human’s.

“Gigya?”

Yep, it’s a goblin.

“I thought they’d keep getting bigger and bigger, but this one is average sized.”

And what’s with this lineup of skills?

A monster with Swordsmanship? Its stats are about the same as mine too. This is going to be tough.

But still, if it’s just this one…

“Gyah! Gegegyagyagyagya!!”

“…!? Master, around us.”

I look around, and see weaker monsters spawning all over. It’s not just ten or twenty, it’s thirty or forty, and they’re still coming. By looking at my map, I can see they’re spawning in positions to surround us.

And of course, there are general goblins, so…

Hey hey hey, what’s with this thing!?

Command is stacking and making its stats stronger and stronger!?

“Aira, prioritize the generals!!”

“Understood!”

“Stone Wall!”

I surround the Emperor Goblin and myself with earth walls I just learned with Elemental Magic Lv2. This is right in the center of a settlement, so there are walls from houses that I can use along with earth walls to stop a rush of attacks from the sides for a while.

Now I just have to focus all I have on taking this thing down!

“Great Strength II, Super Strength III, Adamantine Strength II, Fast Run III, Swift II, Iron Wall, Adamantine Wall II, Crimson Sword.”

“Gugya?”

“Ahh. I’m activating all my buffs. Let’s go!”

“Gagiin!”

The Emperor Goblin’s sword clashes with my two flaming swords.

◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

“Zeih! Orah!”

“Gugyah!! Gugyah!!”

How many times have we crossed swords by now?

I thought I’d die when its regular stats more than doubled into the four digits, but thanks to Aira’s efforts, its stats are gradually going down.

The number of Command affecting the Emperor Goblin is decreasing, so I’m getting more opportunities to counterattack. I was struggling to bear its attacks at first, and getting through the more dangerous ones with Adamantine Armor II and countering while it gave me invincibility, but my attacks weren’t doing much.

The problem is the numerous Healing Magic that keep flying into it from all over the place and restoring it to full health.

“Gugyagyagyagya!!”

But no matter how many go down, its yells bring out more that strengthen and support it.

And just as I’m getting tired of this seemingly endless fight, Aira gives me good news from outside the wall.

“Master! The number of enemies spawning is decreasing!”

She says, even though it felt like they were infinity spawning. There were about fifty at first, but the second time they spawned there were forty, and the third time, thirty-five.

It’s probably down to its magic energy. Its stats were boosted by Command, which also increased its maximum magic energy, but that’s also going down. I assume he has no way to restore it, so it’s being drained every time he spawns more.

“That’s good, but I still can’t land the decisive blow.”

“Gegyagya!”

“Gyagya!”

“Gegya!”

It’s not just the general goblins that are boosting the Emperor Goblin. The front line goblins are all swarming Aira, but fire magic and arrows still make it past her and the walls towards me.

Normally this situation would be certain death, but my skill set is not normal. I can smell danger thanks to the Perception II that I got from rolling the gacha.

Up until now, if attacks were in my field of vision, I could predict their patterns, making it easy to dodge them. But now that it’s up to II, it’s like I can do it even if they’re coming from blind spots, as long as I know about them.

That’s how I can dodge despite being in a fierce battle with the Emperor Goblin.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t get tired.

Aira notices this, and starts taking out goblins attacking from long range too, but we can’t continue this war of attrition.

The Adamantine series in particular causes temporary debuffs. If this keeps going, even the weaker monsters will cause more of a threat.

I need to finish this before then!

◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

The Emperor Goblin keeps yelling, but it looks like it’s breathing heavily. Is it out of magic energy?

Its stats aren’t as threatening as they were either. Is it time…?

“Aira, numbers!”

“One general, zero healers!”

“All right, now I’m focusing on it! Don’t let them get in the way!”

“Yes!”

“Great Strength II, Super Strength III!”

“Oryah!”

“G-gegyah!”

I’m pretty familiar with its moves by now. They’re proper moves that don’t show openings, probably because of Swordsmanship, but that also means there are idiosyncrasies to them. By predicting its flow with Perception II, I can sort of guide it. I was an amateur with the sword until recently, but even I can do this with the help of Swordsmanship Lv3.

I also have Dual Wielding and offensive magic, as opposed to the monster that only has one weapon.

With more options at my disposal, I can attack it in one go and keep hurting it.

“Uoooooh!!”

“Gugyah! Gegyagyah!?”

Slash!

The flaming mithril sword finally pierces its neck.

Its body trembles, and it vomits smoke instead of blood, before disappearing. The underlings it spawned also turn to smoke along with it.

【Level up】

【Leveled up from eighteen to eighty-one】

There are several skill orbs and items in front of me, along with a shiny golden treasure chest, and a shiny silver treasure chest.

After finishing the second consecutive battle, I sit on the ground and take a deep breath. My head hurts, probably from continuing to maintain those earth walls.

And as they crumble, one thought crosses my mind.

This low level correction sure is something.
