Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 89 – Big haul

Well then, let’s leave the treasure chests to the end, and think about what to do with the skills first.

I’ve used all the drops from the weaker monsters, and I got Great Strength, Super Strength, Iron Wall, Rampart, Destructive Wisdom, and Regal Pressure from the King Goblin, and Great Strength II, Super Strength II, Iron Wall II, Rampart II, Swordsmanship Lv1, Regal Pressure III, and Command III from the Emperor Goblin.

The ones I already have are Great Strength II, Super Strength III, Iron Wall (2/3), and Swordsmanship Lv3.

I’ll use Great Strength II and Iron Wall. Then Iron Wall II, Rampart II, and Swordsmanship Lv1. And what should I do with Command III… Hm…

“Aira.”

“Yes?”

“Can you learn Command III?”

“Very well.”

Let’s prioritize powering me up for now.

If we’re thinking about our overall strength, I should be the one to learn it, but I’m the one who has to finish off monsters, rare ones included.

“Maki, what’s Destructive Wisdom?”

“A skill that gives you a mysterious power bonus when you want to destroy something. It’s a very rare skill, similar to Ayane’s Wisdom of Sorcery.”

“I see. Would it affect my sword attacks?”

“According to research done on it, I think you can expect a fixed effect.”

“Then I should learn it… And Regal Pressure?”

“When you get all fired up and yell, you can scare opponents. It doesn’t always work, so it looks like there are other conditions involved or something. We don’t know a lot about it.”

Says Aki, behind me.

Is that what stunned me when I fought the King Goblin? The Emperor Goblin yelled too, but that had the effect to call friends. Or maybe it also has the stunning effect… And I would’ve been screwed if I didn’t get the ring from gacha.

I have Adamantine Armor II, but I can’t use that forever. I can run out of magic energy, and I can even become too nauseous to fight because of it.

A skill that forces such a horrible stun effect… I don’t know if I can use it, but it doesn’t hurt to learn it.

“Let’s just use the III.”

I’ve used a lot, leaving Great Strength, Super Strength, Super Strength II, Rampart, and Regal Pressure.”

“Aira, learn Great Strength, Super Strength II, and Rampart.”

“Very well.”

“And since there is a lot that is unclear about Regal Pressure, how about we use the base one for research?”

“Ah, Shouta. This skill has actually been marked as being impossible to study. Should we auction it instead?”

“Really Maki? Then do it along with Super Strength. And this crown too while we’re at it.”

“Yes, understood.”

It’s a golden crown without any jewels or anything. It’s a bit too big to be an accessory, and I’m hesitant to give it to one of them as a gift, considering a goblin dropped it.

“Ah, then can we deal with the equipment and magic stones dropped by the other goblins too? Aira, put everything here.”

“Very well.”

Aira goes to a corner of the room, and dumps everything out from her bag. It’s about a hundred pieces like swords, great swords, and armor. Iron, steel, and leather are haphazardly piled up.

“Ooh, that sure is a lot. I will contact the workshop to buy it.”

“Thank you. We will deal with that, hold on a second Shouta.”

“Yes Maki.”

I watch as the items are treated, and the iron equipment is appraised.

◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

“…Ta… Shouta.”

“…Hna?”

I look up to see Maki looking at me with a concerned expression.

“Oh… Did I fall asleep?”

“Yes, you were out for about twenty minutes… You really are tired, so let’s finish up for today. And how about you take tomorrow off?”

“Hn… Yes. I’ll do that.”

I didn’t expect to fall asleep. I guess I was more spent than I thought.

Thinking back, I haven’t had any other intense fights other than that first Murder Rabbit. Everything else has been an extension of the simple process of getting to a hundred.

And today, I got a King Goblin, and the Emperor Goblin that’s above even that. Not to mention that I had to focus even when fighting the regular monsters, so this was a big deviation from my regular work.

Do regular high rank adventurers do this all the time… I feel like I can see now why people thought I was weird for going to the dungeon every day.

Maybe I don’t belong in the high ranking dungeon yet.

“Amachi, I can get you a bus for the way back, so rest easy.”

“Thank you Ryuu…”

“Well then! How about we open the treasure chests before you leave? I can’t help but be curious!”

“Oh? You haven’t opened them yet?”

I thought for sure they did while I slept…

“What are you talking about? Whoever got them should open them. Also, we won’t know what is inside until we open them, and the contents might turn out unfortunate unless you open them.”

“Mu… You’ve got a point.”

Then I’ll take my time rolling the gacha when I get home, and just use my SP on Luck.

“…Hn? It felt like my stats went up a lot, but is it because of Command III? It looks like they went up thirty percent.”

““Thirty!?””

“If even ten was outrageous… That’s incredible.”

“If this skill is available, we can conquer the dungeon faster…! But considering what drops it…”

“I want to avoid that for the time being.”

I don’t think I’m cut out for the high rank dungeon yet. Command III is very useful, but I need to polish my abilities more until I can reliably take it down. After all, I jumped from level eighteen to eighty-two. I want to at least finish the current stage of Level Gacha that spends forty levels with each pull.

I don’t know if the next will be sixty or eighty levels, but I do know I can’t hunt that thing over and over again as I am now.

“I’ll open the silver one first.”

I say as I grab it, and everyone looks at me.

There’s no keyhole or anything. I just pull it, and it opens.

“Two skill orbs. They’re… Arithmetic??

Eh? Arithmetic? This is the chest I got from the King Goblin, right??

It dropped Arithmetic??

It’s not telling me I’m stupid and I can’t do math without a skill, right…??

“Hou, Arithmetic?”

“Another rare skill.”

“Eh? Really? Arithmetic?”

“Yes. You might not be able to use it in dungeons, but with this skill, it’s like there’s a calculator inside your head that does calculations automatically. It’s kind of useful. You can do all sorts of mental arithmetic any time.”

“Wao. It’s a cheat. But it doesn’t sound that useful… You two can have it.”

“Really!? Thank you!”

“This one doesn’t come around too often! Thank Shouta!”

It’s clearly not suitable for combat. It could be good for solving sudoku super fast though. But I can’t imagine it being dropped by monsters directly…

I’m just glad they’re happy. On to the next one.

“And what’s in this one…?”

Again, it opens easily.

And inside… It’s completely dark.

“Eh? It’s empty?”
