We are acquainted with the high ranking receptionists here, because of what happened last time, so they listen to us right away and take us to the conference room furthest in the back.
“Aki, Maki.”
“Hn?”
“What is it?”
“Vacation home or a car, which one?”
“Hn, buying a vacation home right after moving is pretty out there.”
“Yes.”
“It’s normal for high ranking adventurers to have multiple bases, because it’s easier to stay near dungeons they often visit.”
“But Shouta wants to go to lots of places, not just one. Maintaining a good balance with your skills, right?”
“Yes, I want to collect as many skills as I can and be ready for anything. That’s why I want to go to places other than the beginner dungeon. I’ve been thinking about it a bit, but I feel like experiencing the high rank dungeon really will make me stronger.”
“Then you’ve already decided it, uh?”
“Yes. We will look for a penthouse in a good location around here. With the title of A rank adventurer, you can probably secure it the same day.”
“Then I’ll handle transportation. Aira, you have a license, right?”
“Yes, class one.”
“Okay. Then I’ll look for a good one.”
They say as they start looking for the information they’ll need on their smartphones.
I imagine they’ll find what they want while we’re in the dungeon, and deal with the contracts when we leave.
Ayane is silently watching, but she’s fired up.
“I’m not good at this kind of support, but I will help in the dungeon!”
“Yes, I’m counting on you.”
“Thank you for waiting… Getting friendly, aren’t we?”
Youko, the branch manager of the Heart Dungeon steps right in without knocking.
Well, this situation really is strange. I have two beautiful sisters, one at each side, a maid in front of me, and Ayane is on my lap. Apparently they settled on this positioning during that thing they called a fiancee meeting.
Well, fixed positions are better for me than having someone different next to me every day, but… What about when we eat? Where is Ayane going to be? She’s not going to stay in this position there, right? How am I supposed to eat?
“Hey Youko, it’s been a while.! How ya doing?”
“It’s only been a few days… Well, there was a lot of confusion, but things have settled thanks to you, so I’m doing fine. And you all seem to be having fun.”
“Yes, thank you.”
“So, are you here on a date, or rare monster hunting?”
“Kind of both.”
“It’s not like you’re the first couple to go on a date while hunting, but… I guess it was like that last time too. I’ll inform the guards, so do as you like. Those four corners are very far from date spots, so no accidents have happened so far.”

“I heard from Miki that they’ve been looking for what comes after rare monsters. I’d be thankful if you brought any information about what comes after Golden Worms that you might find.”
“Can we leave that to you, Ayane?”
“Yes, I’ll do my best!”
I took a day off from dungeons yesterday, so I looked around the bulletin boards for the first time in a while, and saw submissions asking for footage of fights against rare monsters. That would be useful, not just to see what they look like, but also if their moves are made public, it should help prevent unfortunate accidents when people just happen to come across them.
With that in mind, I start talking to the girls about it right away, and it seems people here have been trying to make them spawn, with no success. They’re not ready to do that anyway, so they’ll be very happy if we take the initiative.
As for our team, Aira and I move around a lot, but Ayane is a fixed cannon, so she should hold the camera. We actually ordered an action camera yesterday, which was delivered this morning because of my A rank perks or whatever.
Making the video public would also do the same to the fighters, but well, we’ll just have to count on the editor. But I still have to be ready for the day when it’s leaked.
I might be getting involved in needless trouble, but I’ll get stronger for when the time comes.
“Golden Worms have typically not been made public, but some high ranked adventurers know about them, right? There wasn’t a lot with what we recorded last time, but we’ll hunt a few for testing purposes.”
“Then me and Maki will edit them really nicely, and deliver them to Youko.”
“Eh, interesting… All right, I’ll look forward to it.”
“Ah, I know this is unrelated, but what happened to the golden seed you took?”
“Ah, that? You let our adventurers have it, right. There was only one, so a volunteer took it home and planted it, but results weren’t good. It stayed the same after two days, and on the third, it suddenly decomposed. I’m assuming something a rare monster dropped is hard to handle.”
Figures.
There must be some sort of condition to raise that golden seed and get stat boosting items.
I have two reasons to feel that way. First, was that the results were not uniform. Second, something this big would surely cause a fuss. Things are quiet around the Heart Dungeon, so the lack of any uproar led me to believe it failed.
“I see.”
“That reaction leads me to believe you haven’t planted yours. Tell me if you get good results.”
“Understood.”
From what I can see on Appraisal, all golden seeds are the same, and I planted them with the same space between them, and gave them the same amount of water. And yet, I got different results, so I think it’s safe to say the Luck of whoever plants them plays a part. That must mean they also need Luck until they bear fruit.
You need Luck to make a Golden Worm spawn in the first place, so it wouldn’t be strange for golden seeds to follow the same conditions.
With enough Luck, we can mass produce stat boosting items. This information is bound to cause an uproar if it gets out there into the world, so I’m keeping quiet for now. This dungeon would be flooded with people if I didn’t.
And it looks like we’re all in agreement.
Well, I used them to power up Aira and Ayane, so I’m not getting any direct benefit, but every bit counts. There’s no doubt Ayane and Aira getting stronger will help me too, so we’ll hunt what we can.
…And I can’t forget that this is a date too.
