My Twin Sister Was Taken as a Miko and I Was Thrown Away but I’m Probably the Miko – Chapter 454 – Girl and a big conflict – Part one

“It looks like the Kingdom of Lunid learned about our country and they’re taking action.”

“This forest is dangerous for them, so they hesitate to even step foot inside it. I think even the fact that people are living here is enough for them to be curious.”

We live here like that’s normal, but this forest is dangerous with its monsters.

Both the magic energy vortexes and monsters are like poison for people…

Mister Douroean said that the monster miko made this land easier for monsters to live in, but not people.

It should be surprising for other countries to learn people live here.

It’s natural to us, but not them. When I really think about it, it makes sense that this along with other things would draw attention.

…If Lunid learns I’m the miko, it might draw even more bad attention.

Then there’s the gryphons and spirits. And many races living here.

If they learn about all of this… How would they react?

I’ve never been involved with people of Lunid, I just know what the people who have tell me.

But what is it like really?

“They’re looking?”

“Yes. Apparently they’ve entered the forest.”

What Mister Dongu says leads me to think they wouldn’t enter a dangerous forest because they want to know us.

This country is dear to me, so I don’t think they’ll find it easily.

Before, when Phyto’s people tried to find our village, they couldn’t. That’s why it’s hard to find even with the big castle.

“…I wish they’d stop doing dangerous things to look for us. I don’t want more people to die because of it.”

These people are in danger. We can just let them be, because they’re the ones who decided to come here, but I don’t like it.

We can’t take them in if they’re in danger, but we might save them if we see them. I wonder where that line should be drawn.

In the end, it’s people like me and Gaius who have to make that decision.

“That’s true. I hope they give up along the way, but if not, we don’t know how many casualties there will be.”

“Yes. I don’t like people dying. I don’t think they’ll find any information but… I wonder.”

If they don’t find anything, will they look deeper?

That depends on what they’re thinking. And what is their new king like?

We’re going to have to decide how to deal with this with those things in mind.

“I don’t think they will find us. But they have different races with them, so they might.”

“Yes, different races can do different things. They might find us even though I don’t want them to.”

I say to Miss Lan.

Lunid is like our country in that different races live in it. I wonder what relations are like between them in Lunid. I don’t know a lot about that, or how the change in king will affect it.

What kind of people are looking for us? Are they here under orders from the king? Are they doing what they’re told even though they don’t want to?

The relationship between a king and his people is different in different countries.

A relationship of trust is nice, but I’m sure a lot aren’t like that.

I’m sure a lot of people wouldn’t listen to something just because the king said it. Hm, it’s tricky.

I think everything will depend on how people from Lunid approach us, so we have to be ready for it.

I want this to not turn into a big thing, but I know I’m just being optimistic. Maybe it won’t work out like that, but I’ll do my best to create that future.
