The ruins are in the dungeon, and are said to have been built by people from that other world. Not that anyone has ever found people in that world. Skeletons have been found, and they are definitely from life-forms that are close to us. In fact, the extend plate was developed after studying their ecology.
This means that people from that other world used skills like us seekers, and may have possessed high physical abilities… But since none have been found, people theorize that they are either extinct, or moved outside of the dungeons.
Sometimes, magic tools are found within dungeons that are thought to have been used by them. The ones that can be used for fighting or exploring are sold in Dungeon Town or auctions.
Of course, most discovered ruins have been thoroughly investigated, and seekers that came later have also looked all over them. But since I have the power to move around high places, I might be able to find something…
Also, since no magic beasts have been found there, I should be able to explore there safely. Although the same can’t be said for the path there.
She also says that forming a party might be harder now, for different reasons.
Based on my public data, it’s doubtful that people that are around the same level as me would accept me. And even if I formed a party, based on the achievements of other seekers around my level, it’s very possible they would leech off of me.
And even with a party, I’m still the only one who can mine ether crystals from the ceiling, so what would others do?
I don’t think I can hire a porter either, because another Storage user would cause interference for both of us. There can’t be two in a party.
This is especially true considering my Storage’s strength of presence. There is a good chance another Storage user wouldn’t even be able to activate it. It’s getting harder and harder to join a party.
Maybe as my achievements grow, I can be introduced to a party that matches my abilities, so I’m putting that on hold for now. Someone striving to be the greatest seeker can’t compromise when it comes to a party. Let’s leave that for the future.
And so, the day after I visited the Saitama branch of the Seeker Association, I head back to the Yoshikawa Gate.

It’s bleeding from its mouth, and seems dead. Then I collect the magic stone, and notice I’m getting used to taking them apart… Actually, I’m just using the nata knife to gouge it. I should get used to it, but this magic stone is worth fifteen hundred yen. Considering the effort it takes to take the kobold down and retrieve it, I feel like it’s not really worth it. There are tools used to retrieve them, but they require a lot of power, which I don’t have.

I fire a water bullet at another kobold, and this one also goes flying.
I also shot it from two meters away, but this one has a dent on its chest. Needless to say, it’s dead, but I think I crushed the magic stone.
Well, I was thinking about giving up on the fifteen hundred yen, but water bullets are overkill. I’ll stick to air bullets for kobolds.
