After leaving the Yoshikawa Gate with Lucky, I head to Dungeon Town. After thinking about some things, I came up with more things I need for my adventures going forward.
Maybe it’s because it’s my summon beast and we understand each other, but Lucky agrees to do the heavy lifting. I have given up on anything physical because of my F stats, so Lucky will pick up the slack. This is huge for me.
Upon reaching Dungeon Town, I get a back pouch with a good degree of elasticity for Lucky, a magic stone extraction device, and a universal rope.
I was going to get a big backpack for Lucky, but that would be hard to carry when it’s the size of a normal red panda, so I got one that can be made small enough to fit my Storage spaces. It’s made with materials from the dungeon, so it’s expensive, but also a necessary cost.
The magic stone extraction device is what it sounds like. There are blades in the shape of something resembling a flower on one side of a large tube, and when I stab it into a dead magic beast and turn it, it extracts the magic stone. It takes a lot of strength, so I’m not even going to attempt to do it, but Lucky doesn’t seem to have a problem handling it.
Lastly, the universal rope. I can pull things to high places with it, or strap large things to Lucky. Rope is an essential item in an exploration. It would have been bulky for me to carry alone, but I’m going to have Lucky with me. I’m thankful for that.
I thought about buying a weapon for Lucky, but its claws are stronger than some weak weapon. Let’s see it fighting before deciding if it needs anything.
‘Keep your safety in mind, and have a wonderful seeker life.’
I cross the Yoshikawa Gate again, the day after summoning Lucky. This will be Lucky’s test drive, and I am going to try to collect ether crystals here and there.
“Kyuaaaa.”
Lucky sounds happy. People are snapping pictures, but is this okay? It should be, because it has the tamed beast collar. And I won’t accomplish anything if I’m too scared of failing.
Also, Lucky is in its normal size with a pouch on its back, and the magic stone extraction device is attached to it via a leather belt for large tamed beasts. I could really complete the look with a helmet with a light attached, but the dungeon is bright and Lucky doesn’t need a helmet.
Now let’s start.
“W-waoooon!?”
Thirty minutes later, we come across three kobolds.
The dungeon beyond the Yoshikawa Gate is said to be for beginners, so its magic beast encounter rate is small. Also, these kobolds are groaning, but they’re clearly intimidated.
Not of the man in his mid thirties, but of the two meter tall magic beast, but in any case…
“Do it Lucky.”
“Gah!”
Lucky raises its arms and runs forward. The kobolds try to run away, but Lucky goes around them and blocks their escape. It attacks, kobold A dies, kobold B dies, and kobold C runs away.
But Lucky goes around it again, attacks, and kobold C is dead…
That’s my Lucky. You’re strong. And now I know kobolds run at the sight of Lucky.
And the magic stone extraction device is handy. I’m glad I bought it.

Zenjurou attained new power.
A forbidden power that could end the world in the wrong hands. The pandora’s box that separates hope from despair. Only the presence or absence of the man’s intelligence can be its seal.
Upon returning to the surface, they will head to a fortress of mankind with warriors as its rampart. Is what awaits an enemy? Friend?
Thanks.
