We are currently walking through a forest.
The trees here are close to Japanese beech, and produce fruits that are similar to acorns once a year.
I have seen otherworld acorn coffee and otherworld acorn spinning tops for sale in roadside stations, but they don’t seem to be actively utilized.
Also, there are some magic energy crystals growing out of rocks among other places, but they have almost no ether, and would not be as profitable as the ones from the Crystal Cave.
Well, most places where people can easily pick them up and make money quickly have been dominated by corporations.
A one-man business such as myself, also known as a seeker, has no choice but to work for his money. In any case, my goal today is the place where medicinal herbs grow, so that is where we are headed.
Lucky is carrying me, because honestly, my stats are such that my stamina will be sapped just walking through here. Lucky is really nice to have.

By undoing the Storage Gate with the Slow effect, I unleash the slowed down space to the outside, slowing everything down except me. By the way, Lucky and the others are also affected, which makes sense, since Storage Space is my skill and mine alone.
I look up, and see a snake that’s like a big tsuchinoko is already closing in. Oh? Isn’t this pretty bad?

I think I have a general idea of how it works.
This Storage skill has a strength of presence that means all the resources may have been poured into it, including ones that would have gone to my stats. It being so big means the size of the Storage Spaces is also fixed… I think that’s it, but my Storage Gates are tough, and rather than increasing in size, they increase in number and get skills attached to them, like Slow and Analysis, along with other effects.
I think the abnormalities of my skill come from its excessive strength of presence.
However, looking into its strength of presence would come at a great monetary cost, and it’s not like it would change anything. If anything, not investigating might be safer, because there might be an information leak.
I have no problems with my skill for the moment, so I will leave it as is.
“So this snake, serpent niphead, right? That’s quite the name.”
I check it with the seeker device, and the name immediately comes up. This camera search feature is great.
“Hm. When many gather, they connect at the tail and coordinate attacks.”
“So there is a meaning to the name.”
Magic beasts are usually named by the person who discovered them, so I thought it was just some name someone came up with. And it wasn’t actually a dirty joke.
“Their magic stones can be sold, but so can their fangs and poison sacs…. The poison sacs can be eaten after being processed. But I’m scared of handling the fangs and poison sacs because I don’t want to be poisoned. And I can’t take them with me and take them apart either, so I will just take the magic stones. It’s at times like these that I envy regular Storage skills.”
Things out of fantasy stories such as magic bags have been found, but not many. Not enough for the common seeker to have one anyway.
This was one of the reasons why I was told I was not fit to be a seeker, but Storage skills tend to cause interference, so it’s not recommended to have more than one in a party. This is not true for magic bags, so I really wish I could find one.
