I slide the active 《Polish》 scroll in front of Kahelone. It’s just the tornado, with no diamond dust inside it.
I send it there to overlap with the enemy that’s still spinning towards her, and the tornado hits the enemy.
The enemy is sucked into the tornado as her rotation is thrown into disarray and her posture is completely broken.
I hear short screams coming from her, but the tongue smacking is gone. This is exactly what I’m after.
The purifying light is already gone from the kitchen knives in her hands. It looked like she was causing it by smacking her tongue, so once that’s gone, so is the purifying light.
Kahelone’s Jamming divine protection has brought those kitchen knives back to being simple cooking utensils.
The enemy lost the purifying light causing that rotation, and now spins inside the tornado until she is smacked down to the floor.
“Aroma Vine!”
Vines creep towards her and quickly wrap around her whole body.
“Leave just the nose out, and be particularly careful with the mouth. Ahh… Kahelone, am I right in thinking that she is…”
I ask while pointing to the unconscious enemy on the floor.
“Yes, she is one of the people who were resurrected. It is as I feared. That was divine protection, wasn’t it? From that unknown being?”
Kahelone confirms as she peeks into the nose and eyes, the only parts of the enemy that aren’t covered by vines.
“I see. I’m sure her goal was to stop me from leaving.”
“That could very well be it. Can you keep her restrained like this with your transmuted beast?”
“Yes, but let’s move her. We can’t just leave her in the kitchen. A place with dirt would be ideal.”
I feel kind of bad about the state of this kitchen, but I’m more concerned about the royal castle right now.
“Then the courtyard. I will have sisters take turns watching her. Sister Reese.”
Kahelone calls out to Reese, who was apparently waiting outside the kitchen. She pokes her head inside.
“Yes, actor. I will take care of it right away… Uwah…”
Says Reese as she looks at the kitchen, but swiftly turns around and starts running with light steps.
“…The courtyard is this way.”
Kahelone says as she presses her forehead with one hand and shakes her head as she starts walking. I follow her as the scroll floats in the air along with the vines, and brings the woman behind us.
