Surrounded by various flying monsters, is the 『Weakest Seventh Seat』. It stands out with its intense sense of presence, which makes it immediately obvious that it’s a demon.
Although from afar, the 『Weakest Seventh Seat』 looks like a human man.
In fact, even a guy like me can see he has a charming beauty about him.
But two things stand out. First, the half-transparent wings on his back. It looks like there are eight in total, and they’re thin enough that I can see what’s behind them.
And the other thing, is even more striking.
The 『Weakest Seventh Seat』 has the face of a fly.
But it’s not like his head is just that of a fly. It’s like his human skin was transformed into the shape of the face of a fly. And his eyes are also a human’s eyes.
The whole thing gives me a weird sense of discomfort.
“It looks like he’s coming for us. That saves us time.”
“Is this what you say at a time like this!? Do you seriously intend to negotiate with the Weakest Seventh Seat, Master Rust?”
Asks Ahri as she jumps down from Seilook and stands in front of me. Seilook is still on alert, and watching what I do.
“That’s the idea.”
I answer Ahri with a smile, step forward, and yell as loudly as I can.
“『Weakest Seventh Seat』! My name is Rust! I formed contracts with dragons. I’m here to talk.”
I see a reaction right away.
The Weakest Seventh Seat comes down alone, and fast, before landing and standing in front of us without a sound.
Without any sound whatsoever. I didn’t even hear wings flapping. Is there some sort of trick to it?
“So you really are Rust. Can you tell me how the Third Seat of Immorality died?”
That voice sounds low and drawn out, but even though it’s coming from what looks like a fly’s mouth, it doesn’t sound different from a regular person’s. I could even say it sounds nice.
“Yes. The Third Seat of Immorality was burned by my knife clad in purifying light.”
“I see. So she was able to die completely. What about the Fourth Seat of Foolishness?”
“The magic stone? I have it.”
The Weakest Seventh Seat nods deeply.
“Why are you here? To kill me?”
Says the Weakest Seventh Seat, just before all the monsters flying above us let out a cry at the same time.
The many types of flying monsters crowded together blocked out the sky before I knew it, and raise their voices almost like they’re verbally attacking me.
The Weakest Seventh Seat raises his hand, and the monsters all turn silent.
I lower my head from the monsters, and continue talking.
“No, that’s not why I’m here. I’m here because I want to make a deal.”
“Hou? A deal? Interesting.”
“I assume you were human once too. So I was thinking we could look for some common ground.”
“Hmph, fine. I’m listening.”
The Weakest Seventh seat raises his index finger, and starts circling with it.
Wind gets increasingly stronger around that finger, and he points it at a nearby rock, which is carved by the wind generated by the finger.
Hm… Is this some kind of show? He does seem to be pretty powerful.
The wind settles, and leaves a chair made of rock with a backrest included.
The Weakest Seventh Seat slowly walks towards it, seats down, crosses his legs, and looks at me.
It reminds me of the one in Queen Lily’s coronation ceremony. It seems painful on the back.
I shrug, activate a scroll, and 《Manifest》 Rose.

A contest of chairs, is it?
Thanks for the chapter 🙂
