The frontier alchemist ~ I can’t go back to that job after you made my budget zero – Chapter 413 – Pious one

“Is it trying to get away!? Roa, Ahri, stop it. Forward. Litna, handle that area!”

Yells Kalin as she reaches the bottom of the hill.

The First Seat of Delusion squirms as Kalin rides a Lesser Hipopo to go around it, with Ahri and Roa right behind her.

Kalin swings her big sword to keep the demon in check, and flips one of the tentacles of the First Seat of Delusion as it tries to move. Ahri and Roa turn and take some distance from her, and swing their spears.

Roa swings her shape-shifting transmuted beast spear, and Ahri her spear with the added power of a skill.

The three women all attack independently, stop the First Seat of Delusion from moving, and cut down the 『delusion』 fake human torsos growing on its surface.

On the other side, Litna is taking control of the army temporarily and pushing back the remaining mermen, along with the bamboo shoot army.

The mermen are being kicked around by the Admiral army riding Lesser Hipopo, and the bamboo shoot army was losing before, but they’re mustering up the last of their strength to undauntedly fight back.

“This one’s big. Bigger than Rihalzam when he turned into a demon. But the First Seat of Delusion itself is pretty slow.”

I whisper to myself, as I activate multiple 『Polish』 and 『Restrain』 scrolls near the First Seat of Delusion and watch its imposing appearance and strange movements.

Kalin, Roa, and Ahri are gradually pushing harder, but it doesn’t really seem like their opponent is fighting back.

However, every wound caused by them sprays something that looks like foam, and instantly regenerates.

Does this demon just specialize in having high regenerative abilities and making its underlings fight? That means it will be hard to land the killing blow…

Every wound caused by everyone’s strong attacks is quickly regenerated, as the First Seat of Delusion stands as if nothing happened.

“Rust…”

But then I hear Taula. Her voice emits this pious aura that doesn’t feel right in a field of battle.

I turn around, and see Taula enveloped in thickly concentrated magic elements. It looks like they’re bursting out of the scripture in her hand like a whirlpool.

“What’s happening, Taula? Is that…!?”

“『Strike from the heavens』, 『Shoot the invisible one』, 『As fire defeats water』.”

What comes out of Taula’s mouth is an oracle.
