But I don’t give up, and activate magic to shroud this place with fog to make my enemy lose sight of me even for just a bit.

My second Guardian Barrier is broken.
And like the first time, the army spider queen immediately swings at me with another leg.
But I already know it’s coming this time… Thus the fog.
If it blows me away, will it lose sight of me for a bit… Is my hope.
“Kyuu.”
I activate even more magic.
I create another heat source besides me, and call out to it from there.
“Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiih!”
And I scratch the ground.
It’s a gamble. And I won.
“Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiih!”
The army spider queen starts swinging its legs to clear the fog while yelling.
This gives me time to evolve.

Those are my options, and I cast Appraisal on them.
