My target is the giant rat monster with the stout belly in front of me.
It’s not like the one in the kingdom of dreams, this one isn’t cute at all. It lets out a cry, and I unleash my spell.
“Kyuu!”
A ball of fire the size of my fist mercilessly envelops the monster.
“Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!”
The moment it catches fire, it quickly spreads and engulfs the whole mouse.
“Kyuu.”
That’s my current strength. And that’s what happens to a fellow E rank monster when it’s hit by one of my spells. You could say I’m out of its league. After my overwhelming victory over the mouse, it’s safe to say I’ve never been more noticeably smug.
But I hope it’s understandable why.
It’s been a week since I evolved, and my development hasn’t been this perfect yet.

I gained two levels, and one of my stats is now in the double digits.
This overwhelming strong being… Is nothing more than an E rank monster.
Also, my magic isn’t that strong yet, so even with Magic Grounding, it doesn’t have that much attack power.
Mice have relatively little endurance, so my magic was a critical hit, but it won’t go so well with others.

That’s why this is the perfect hunting ground for me.
I’m currently in an unused sewer of the Kingdom of Minowa. An area many mice call home.
This place is compatible with me, so I can get some nice experience and hunt many mice of my rank.
I won’t find another place this good so easily.
