Mia watches them for a while, until…
“I don’t know if I can heal them… But I will try holy magic.”
She says, and immediately starts chanting Recovery. There’s no hesitation to her.
And both girls wake up right away.
Unlike my Recovery, I felt highly concentrated magic energy the moment she cast hers.
It really makes me feel like my Holy Magic and hers are different on a fundamental level. Although I don’t get to use it a lot in the first place.
“Where… My head hurts…”
“…Big sister Mia?”
Rurika holds her head, and Hikari opens her eyes widely when she sees Mia in front of her.
“Big sister Mia!”
And once she fully comes to, she gets up and tries to go to her, but loses her balance and almost falls.
Mia gently catches her, and lets out a sigh of relief.
I guess Mia herself really wasn’t sure it would work. Even if she looked very confident.
“Are you all right, Rurika?”
“I’m fine.”
Chris and Sera put their hands out towards Rurika, as they explain what happened to her.
“I’m glad you’re both awake. You really worried us.”
I was pretty worried after they collapsed, but the same goes for everyone. Especially since we had no idea how to treat them.
“Yes yes~. Thank goodness~.”
Eliana looks happy too.
“Big sister Mia, there’s a tiny thing there.”
Is what Hikari says when she sees Eliana.
Well, she’s not wrong, but Eliana doesn’t like it. She puffs her cheeks and lashes out at Hikari.
“Geez~. What do you mean tiny~? I’m very grand, despite what I look like~.”
I was going to say something about her calling herself grand, but she said ‘despite what I look like’, so…
She has her hands on her waist and looks angry, but there’s no impact to it.
“Strange being?”
Hikari says as she looks at Eliana, who is right in front of her. She lets her curiosity get the better of her, and pokes Eliana with her finger.
I don’t know if it’s because she was pushed or what, but Eliana starts spinning and flying away. Basically, blown away… Is she really that weak?
Still, she managed to touch her…
“Master, there’s something weird.”
“Ah… She’s the one who saved Mia, so make sure you apologize later.”
I turn around, and see her floating a little further away, so she’s fine.
But then she returns incredibly quickly, and starts complaining at Hikari. She’s mad, but her listless way of speaking makes it not sound that way.
Eventually, when she’s out of breath…
“I’m sorry.”
Hikari apologizes after being urged by Mia.
“All right then~.”
Eliana’s bad mood is fixed instantly. I can’t tell if she’s simple or lenient…
“More importantly, can I use Purification Magic, Mia? That looks pretty awful, and it can’t feel good either.”
Maybe I should’ve said this sooner, but I didn’t get the chance.
She started bleeding when I pulled out the god killing dagger, so her clothes are stained with blood around the chest. And it’s even more noticeable because she’s wearing white.
I also notice blood on Hikari, and some red on Chris’s clothes too.
But Chris then interjects.
“Wouldn’t it be better to get changed? It’s not big, but there is a hole…”
When Mia hears this, she looks at her chest, and covers it with her hands.
It’s fine though. It’s so red, that we basically can’t see any skin.
If I actually said that, it would be a disaster though, so I keep my mouth shut. And face the opposite direction.
I end up turning towards Eliana, who has a grin on her face. I feel like flicking her with my fingers, but fight that urge.
She’d get all noisy again if I did that. And she’s still a goddess, so I should avoid doing anything like that.
More importantly, looking at her more closely, something feels off.
And when I stare…
“I know I’m cute, but don’t stare so much~.”
She says, so I stop.
And Mia is done changing, so Hikari comes over to me and pulls my sleeve.
When I turn to her…
“Master, I’m hungry.”
She says as she looks up at me, and Chris and Sera laugh.
We were worried when they were unconscious, so seeing Hikari act the same as always is kind of comforting.
“Let’s eat then. Can I cook here?”
I ask Eliana, while patting Hikari’s head.
“No problem~. But if you’re going to eat, do it over here~.”
And so, we move to a spot pointed out by Eliana.
