Walking in another world – Chapter 479 – Traveling – Part two

The three people experiencing this for the first time start looking around, probably because they’re surprised by what’s in front of them suddenly changing.

That said, this place has been set up as a stop for Transfer, so there isn’t really anything out of the ordinary here.

All I see is that they’ve been cleaning it, because there’s no dust.

“Let’s go you two.”

Hikari holds Elsa and Alto’s hands, and leaves the room. And when we follow them, we start hearing noise.

There are kids all around Hikari and the others, launching questions at Elsa and Alto.

Elsa is bewildered, and Alto is hiding behind her.

“Yes yes, let’s calm down, everyone. You’re bothering them.”

Says Suiren while clapping. She probably rushed here after she heard the kids.

“How about you introduce them, Hikari?”

“Yes.”

Hikari is put on the spot, and she introduces Elsa and Alto and explains why we’re here, while the kids sound excited.

“Then let’s show you the town!”

Someone says, and the three of them are taken outside.

“I’m going too.”

Mia has a smile on her face, but she wants to go with them just in case.

A lot of these kids are rowdy and tend to get hurt, so she’s probably worried about that.

“Oh dear, more importantly… It’s been a while, Reese.”

Suiren turns around after watching the kids leave, and towards Reese.

“…Yes, it’s been a while, Miss Suiren.”

Reese’s voice sounds kind of stiff.

“Let’s go too Sora. We shouldn’t bother them.”

Whispers Chris while pulling on my sleeve, and I peek at Reese and nod.

“We’re going to have a look around town too.”

“Really? Then please go to the fields. Eris is over there.”

“Eh? Eris?”

Rurika starts fidgeting when she hears Suiren.

Actually, so do Chris and Sera.

“All right, we’ll do that.”

We leave Reese here, and head to the field like Suiren said.

I don’t think we have to be in this much of a hurry though. It’s not like Eris will run away.

Their pace gets faster and faster, so it doesn’t take us long to reach the field that’s a little far from the center of town.

“Here?”

I think we’re in the right place, but I’m not sure.

What I see in front of me is a lot different compared to the last time we were here.

“Did they bring these trees from somewhere and planted them here?”

Whispers Rurika, sounding not too sure either.

We left here, passed by the Holy Kingdom of Frieren, and then we explored a dungeon in the Magic State of Efa.

Some time has passed, but it’s still strange how these trees grew so fast. Or do trees just grow this fast in this world?

“That’s not right.”

I thought I was just thinking that, but I accidentally mumbled it, and Rurika responds with a sharp tone.

“Oh? Chris? And Rurika and Sera. What happened?”

We’re just standing here, when Eris suddenly appears from behind a tree.

“Ah, Eris. Suiren told us you were here. What are you doing here?”

“Helping with farm work?”

She says, and then she takes us to a field full of vegetables that look like they’re ready to be harvested.

The trees are full of fruit too, that she says is almost ready to be picked.

“This is all thanks to Miss Eris.”

Says one of the people farming, and everyone agrees.

“Hum, can we stop with the Miss Eris?”

“Don’t say that, you’re the one who did this, so… Not to mention all the demo… Elves like you have done for us.”

Was he about to say demon king?

People here don’t go as far as to worship Suiren and the others, but I guess the way they treat them makes sense, considering how much they rely on them.

I’ve heard from Siphon that some places hold even stronger beliefs towards elves.

“What do you mean when you say this is thanks to my sister?”

“They mean that it’s thanks to a new spirit that formed a contract with me.”

She says before spreading her arms and chanting something.

And then, I see something appear with strong magic energy.
